Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort

It’s a wonderful large property and although had a car we found it was a pleasant 10-15 minute walk from our Garden bungalow to the restaurants, beach and reception.

Our 2 bedroom bungalow in the Garden area was close to others and we continuously heard other guests in their vacation homes.

Beautiful new villa, with a very nice porch where you could sit in the sun but with plenty of shadow. A small but very nice pool. The rooms were nice and had good bathrooms. ' The beach is nearby and excellent, the restaurants are so so. The golf course is very nice, staff is great. Location is good, you can drive to Willemstad in 20 minutes and Pirates Bay in 12. This is a great stay for families who don't want to be in the chaos of Willemstad or Mambo beach.

Blue Bay's advertising with 2 tennis courts, but when we wanted to play the staff told us that it was actually for the long term residents. They had 3 rackets of very low quality, one of them was a children's racket, the other had broken strings. Also, it was too bad that there was not a BBQ or outside kitchen. And when we wanted to arrange a late check out at 2 pm, it was 100 USD even though they didnt have a reservation that day. They can ask it of course, but I always find it a pity when resorts do that, especially if its a resort where there's some construction going on.

Location, clean, enough room for all. The outdoor space was terrific, but could use a grill for longer stays.

Paying extra for electricity, only used air in individual rooms while sleeping and we hit limit.... lights on deck are on all night you cannot shut off to conserve electricity and the pool runs automatically.... we were so good leaving off all lights and air in house, so the 50 kw per night is really tough if you want to be comfortable... Also tell people to check in at Golf Course

Beautiful place. We stayed at The Shores. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else on the resort. It’s huge. We booked through Blue Bay but was told we booked through a third party. Didn’t receive any beach towels for 8 days. Had to use bath towels. Had to wash them constantly. Shuttle never picked us up at the airport. Almost was cancelled on the way out too. There is no mini store at all. Bring all essentials. Definitely rent a car. Besides the issues the beach was beautiful. Condo and pool were great. Every Condo was close to pool. Bar was great. Great food at Coast also. Great Snorkeling. Rent a Brass Boer cabana for the day. Kokomo Beach and the Flamingos 5 minutes away. Mambo Beach was to busy. Glad I didn’t stay there. Kome was great. Bklyn wasnt Brooklyn food at all.
