Glacier View Lodge

We had a fantastic one stay at Glacier View, which included half board and trips to the Skywalk and Glacier. The staff were all very helpful, in particular Maddy, who went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. Our room was lovely, with amazing views of the glacier. The welcome cocktail and nibbles were a real treat. I absolutely cannot fault it; we were sad to leave.

Location was excellent, I picked a room with a view of the mountain which was great. Room was clean and comfortable.

It would have been nice if the room had a desk.

Lokalizacja super, ale nieco uciążliwy był hałas emitowany przez generator prądu i wentylację (klimatyzację). Myślę, że pokoje z widokiem na lodowiec nie mają tego problemu.

The location next to the glacier. The management compensated us for a poor experience.

Everything else. Terrible night's sleep due to constant vibration from generator, felt like we were sleeping on a boat. Hotel/visitor centre set up is purely designed to extract as much money from guests as possible. Little thought given to the guest experience. The worst Hotel we have stayed at in Canada.

Had a night here whilst travelling only the Icefield Parkway between Jasper and Banff. Great location with easy access to the tourist sites of the glacier and skywalk. Very handy having allocated parking, although it is quite a walk from the car park with luggage ( there was a porter service but it was complicated to use) so try and take only what you need. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming and the room clean and spacious with a great view. Nice welcome drink and nibbles. Because we had also booked a package which reduced the price of multiple attractions in the park we could take advantage of being the last to the skywalk in the evening and first to the glacier in the morning as part of the hotel stay ( extra cost) but it didnt make too much difference.

What a wonderful 24 hrs at Glacier Lodge, visiting the skywalk and the glacier! Aleigha was such a friendly, knowledgeable, and kind hearted tour guide! (HBD to her beautiful mama today, and Howdy to her great grandma!) We also met safe bus drivers Kim and Logan (aka wolverine), dapper hotel manager Abhi Singh soon to be CEO one day who gave us Michelin star hospitality at breakfast, waitress Kimmy who gave us 5-star service and is wise beyond her years, waitress Michelle who made sure our dinner experience was delish with great recommendations, and dear Bronte and Lluyen at the welcome counter who took care of needs. Can’t thank everyone enough for such great hospitality and the experience of a lifetime with the glacier walk, glacier facial, and tips on best views. You must go and see for yourself! Thank yall!
