Sandos Benidorm Suites

Returning to Benidorm for another trip, this was our first time staying at Benidorm Suites. On arrival, the reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had two separate bookings, and they kindly ensured our rooms were next to each other, which we really appreciated. The rooms are spacious, clean, with very comfortable beds. The balcony was large, private, and a great bonus. The food was very good, with plenty of choice and variety available. Everything was well cooked and enjoyable. There’s also a snack bar by the pool serving hot dogs, burgers, and chips, which is ideal if you don’t want to head inside for lunch. The location is decent, around a 12-minute walk to the Strip and approximately 15 minutes to Levante Beach. For families, the hotel has an animation team that organises activities such as water volleyball and other games. There is also a small children’s play area next to the pool, which is a nice addition for younger guests. Overall, I have very little negative to say about this hotel and would happily stay again. My only criticism was the dinner service time, which didn’t start until 7:30 pm. In my opinion, this is quite late, especially for families with young children. Many of the entertainment venues on the Strip also begin their shows around 8:00 pm, which didn’t leave much time to enjoy dinner before heading out. Aside from that, we had a very enjoyable stay.

We have been here a few times and always enjoyed our stay. Most of the Staff are very helpful and welcoming throughout the Hotel with a special mention of Claire on Reception. It is such a pity that we were failed by what could be best called an arrogant Bar Manager who does not possess any manners or know how to speak or interact with people. At first we thought he was having a bad day ( like we all can have ) but speaking to other guests they have experienced the same behaviours from the same person. I am not sure how he manages to hold this post as a Manager or is it that Senior Management turn a blind eye to this kind of behaviour. Regrettably we will not be returning and will use a different Hotel on our next visits to Benidorm has it is something I cannot accept being treated and spoken to with someone who has serious customer service issues.

We have had an absolutely incredible time at this hotel, giving us a a brilliant experience of Benidorm, and incredible food and drink. However not the hotel for party people, which we respected. However on the 4th of June, the male with the dark hair and beard was rather rude to me while I was struggling with an asthma attack at reception, while I asked about my friends passing by so I could follow them to help with my situation,, which he simply told me to “figure out myself” with no help or assistance for me while visibly having to use my inhaler. Other than this an incredible time and an incredible view. Thank you all

Lovely location, amazing and kind staff, food fine, good choice of drinks and cocktails, great poolside snack bar. Our room was clean and enough room for us. The only negative was that the lifts could take a while to get to your floor - there was only one working on the "even" floors side which could cause a bit of a delay. Also mad dash for a sun bed but they don't open the pool area until around 9am which is good as you don't get people leaving towels on loungers at the crack of dawn. We holidayed here as a couple with our 1 year old and it was very family friendly. A 5 minute walk takes you to lots of shops, 10 minutes to Levante beach and around 20 minutes to the Old Town. We will certainly return - it was honestly great here.

CHECK IN : We arrived at the hotel around 2pm. Our room was ready but were advised to have lunch first as it was on until 3pm, which was very much appreciated. Quick and easy check in process with map of the area given to us. We asked for a door card each and there was no problem with requesting this. ROOM : junior suite looking over the pool. Our party included 3 girls, two stayed in the bedroom and I stayed in the living area on a very comfortable pull out bed. Good sized balcony, fridge, plenty of storage space. There was a kettle but you needed to get teabags, coffee, milk and sugar from the bar. Great rainfall showerand plenty of hot water. Tooth brushes and miniature toothpaste, a razor and shaving cream supplied. Room was cleaned daily. Beds changed once during our 4 night stay. SUN BEDS : no massive rush in the morning. Plenty of beds, tables and chairs. FOOD & DRINK : great selection of breakfast items with freshly squeezed orange juice on one of the days, Lunch and dinner also had plenty of choice, great desserts and ice-cream. Fresh pizza served daily, great choice of salads and a roast dinner on the Sunday. The pool bar also served freshly cooked burgers, hotdogs, salads and nachos. Paella served on one of the days beside the pool. Great rage of soft and alcoholic drinks. The champagne cocktail was lethal but very tasty. Good variety of alcoholic and virgin cocktails. STAFF : All the staff we met were polite and helpful. There seemed to be a lot of Scottish staff. The Scottish bar tender at the pool bar made excellent cocktails. LOCATION : A good 20 minutes walk into the main strip. A few shops near the hotel for essential items and snacks. ENTERTAINMENT : Something on each evening in the bar area ranging from a form of bingo played with cards, singers and dancers . Overall we had a great stay in Sandos Benidorm Suites. I have previously stayed in Sandos Monaco Hotel and I thought the food there was better than the suites, a better variety on offer. Would I return? Yes, definitely 😁

Nice hotel with friendly staff,big rooms, and excellent gluten-free options. The team was knowledgeable and accommodating, making our stay comfortable, relaxing, and worry-free

Reception - friendly but room not ready until 4.30pm which I thought was quite late. 24th floor - wasn’t too much of a problem even though one lift not working never had to wait too long Bar staff - really good & friendly Location - suited us a bit away from main strip etc but easily walkable Room - spacious , clean One day we discovered we’d not been left any towels . Phoned reception . 40 mins later still no towels . Rang again . 10 minutes towels appeared . Felt a bit chilly at night . Liked having the extra room with sofa to chill Fridge was a plus . Only got a bottle of water on day of arrival . Pool - clean but very basic . Got Sunbeds no problem but not the best experience . Not that relaxing . Music from speakers was fine but if the animation team did something their music was played on top and listening to 2 different musics was irritating Snack bar - very basic but was ok Breakfast - staff very good , good choice , room felt quite drab Didn’t eat lunch or evening meal as were out every night Wouldn’t stay there again just wasn’t for us .

Just spent a week at the Sandos and no complaints at all. Nice clean Hotel with lovely rooms food we fine especially the Breakfast which was super. Nice pool and bar area with snacks available most of the day. A bit away from the front but thats why we chose it nice and quiet but just a short stroll to loads of Bars and Restaurants
