This is a beautiful lakeside resort less than 1 mile away from J35 of the M6 yet seems peaceful enough to be in the middle of nowhere. The Pine Lodges are built around a man-made lake and there are lots of wildlife to interact with. Whist it's not recommended to feed the ducks, swans and geese bread I came prepared with wild bird seed and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The resort has a Leisure Centre featuring a fitness centre, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The reception staff (24Hr) and the Leisure Centre staff were brilliant and available for questions and assistance. The Lodges have a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Some Lodges have an additional WC and others have an en-suite off the master bathroom. Each Lodge has parking for at least one car close by but there are plenty of other car parks for additional parks. We have stayed here many times and always enjoy it. The lovely weather helped us to enjoy it just a little more this time.

Unfortunately i didnt get to stay, i missed the check in time and didnt tell them so they sold my room to someone else and kept my money. I turned upto check in and was told there was nothing they could do as i was a no show. The room was no longer available as it had been sold to someone else, no place to stay, no communication and no refund.
