Close to smugglers cove which is great place to eat. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms not so great - basic and clean but expensive

I was only there one night. The room was clean but the photos did not match the real thing in my opinion. I bought a 24 hour internet card which I then returned as the wifi wasn't working. They did refund my money so that was good. The staff was friendly but I felt that they wasn't much communication between them. I was charged for the night when I arrived but then was asked to pay again the next morning. I had to produce my credit card receipt to prove it. I thought it was a little odd.

Nice place with a good pool and playground for kids. Close to the beach and a few places to eat. Wifi is limited to the reception area.

Those not used to jet engines waking you early in the morning, need not go there but it is relatively close to Wailoaoa beach - you have to walk around 700 - 800 meters around privately owned land. The grounds & pool are kept in a reasonable condition & the showers were nice & hot. Rooms are basic & although it advertises kitchen facilities, you aren’t allowed to cook in the room (apart from heating up food in microwave) & has fridge & kettle, so limited to bring your own breakfast cereal, fruit & they provide tea/coffee/sugar & powdered milk. We mostly ate at Bamboo travellers back packers as the Grand West restaurant on site was overpriced in comparison & lacked atmosphere. Check what time tours pick you up & triple check if you need to be there earlier as we missed a pick up & had to pay $25FJ to get into Denarau. Balcony has nice view of sunset.

My experience at Grand West Villas was overall "ok". Nothing to harp on about, but an ok place to spend time whilst travelling or holidaying in Fiji. The staff were friendly, but the rooms weren't all that crash hot. At least we had booked an apartment that had a view of the sea.

On arrival at 3pm our room was not ready, beds had no linen and there were no towells. The beds also had seen better days, the air con in the bedroom worked but was dodgy, TV was limited and static. The fridge was turned off. Our first view was one of "what the hell have we booked". We were advised the room would be made up soon. We went out at 4.30 and things were still to be sorted. We soon found 'don't give them your towells in the morning as you won't get them back until after 4pm, there are no pool towells so you are going to be left short. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, however the reception staff did not give you that welcome feel. The location was okay as it is in walking distance to Wailoaloa beach and cheap meals and drinks. The bus stops outside the premises going to and from Nadi. Overall the property is clean and tidy, but, the photos of rooms is definately not to be relied upon, as usual they are of the best rooms.

Hotel is five minute walk to the beach. Taxi’s are inexpensive $5-$6 to town or Marina Port but you can also take a bus for $1.10. Staff was excellent, price was good for older style hotel and rooms were cleaned every day.

Good decent apartment. Bit old and dated. Needs a massive upgrade. Full price is expansive based on the condition of the apartment.

Not good enough Small rooms, no space, no communication from staff, After booking and paying online , they still asked me to pay.

Convenient location. Close to the ocean. Big pool with waterslide. Restaurant on site but about 1km from nearest shopping
