Parador Nature Resort and Spa

Wonderful location and with great access to Manuel Antonio! Slightly overpriced for the quality of the facility, and felt at times that the resort is a little outdated. however, the service is wonderful, and the views are stunning! a really nice place for families!

Súper agradable todo el lugar

I came here for my honey moon and it was such a treat. It was so amazing we felt like we didn’t need to leave the hotel. The staff surprise us with a sweet treat that really made things romantic for us. We saw monkeys at least two times per day. In fact, they were a monkey trail that you can get lost in. Free breakfast was include everyday that was actually worth it. The house keeping left our place outstanding, loved the pools and the ability to swim anytime in the day, can’t even say enough great things about the view and free round trip transportation. We can’t wait to return!!!

Echt een top hotel! De accommodatie ligt op een mooie plek, met veel natuur en eigen trials. Op deze accommodatie hebben wij heel veel wildlife gezien, leguanen, aapjes, vogels, alles komt voorbij. Ook de ligging is perfect. Dichtbij het strand en vlakbij het nationaal pak van Manuel Antonio. In de omgeving zijn veel lekkere restaurants te vinden. De hotelkamers zijn netjes verzorgd en schoon. Het personeel is vriendelijk en klantgericht. Ook de faciliteiten zijn goed. Het zwembad is lekker met een mooi uitzicht. Ook is er een ruimte waar kleine kinderen kunnen spelen en wat oudere kinderen kunnen tafeltennissen, poolen en gamen. Het hotel biedt ook verschillende excursies aan. Wij hebben de nachttour op het terrein van het hotel gedaan. Dit was echt een superleuke belevenis. Wij hebben andere dieren gespot dan tijdens de avond wandelingen in Monteverde en Tortuguero. Het ontbijt was een buffet met veel keus en kwalitatief goed eten.

Het enige minpunt vonden wij de prijzen van de lunch en het diner. Deze liggen vrij hoog, terwijl het eten niet veel beter is dan andere restaurants. Wij hebben daarom niet vaak voor het hotel gekozen. Als dit beter in verhouding was geweest, hadden wij vaker bij het hotel gegeten.

This was our second visit to the Parador, and this year we stayed for 10 nights. From the minute we arrived, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and really nothing was too much trouble. The grounds are immaculately kept, but not at the expense of the wildlife. There were 2 sloths living in the tree by the swimming pool and capuchin monkeys everywhere. Despite the hotel being fairly large, it was easy to escape from other people, and the pool areas were never very busy. The rooms are clean and spacious- we had a garden room, which opened onto a private patio where we regularly saw geckos, monkeys and iguanas. The only thing I would mention is that myself and my daughter occupied the room, and 3 towels between 2, do not add up. Every single day I had to hunt someone down to ask for another towel. In a high quality spa hotel, I would not expect to have to keep searching for towels. On occasion when I couldn't find anyone, I would resort to going to the pool for towels. I'm not sure why the hotel rations towels in this way. The bar and restaurant are lovely and relaxing with very friendly and attentive staff. The prices to eat and drink there are, however, eye watering. Early in our stay the bar was closed due to the marlin competition, and we had to go elsewhere. Consequently we realised how easy to was to get a taxi and find alternative, cheaper, restaurants. All in all, we had a lovely stay, and would definitely go back for a third visit.

Prachtig resort, ontzettend vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel. Uitzicht en ontbijt geweldig! En de dieren in de bomen!

Bij aanvang moest ik wat wennen aan de stijl van het hotel, maar dat was ik al gauw vergeten.
