Tidewater Beach Resort by Panhandle Getaways

Property was fine. I had s prompt response to maintenence issue. But we didn't care for the Roku tv

Starbucks and the ramp for the beach and they offered nice beach wheelchairs if needed with big tires for easy sand access. The sauna and steam room definitely a plus those were amazing just wish they had one for a family to sit in together instead of being in the females and males bathrooms separate. The workout room also had 2 indoor hot tubs super warm and nice but the jets don’t work good, but you can still see the beach from the indoor hot tubs! I thought it was neat they offered shopping carts to get your groceries from your car to your room easy instead of having to use the luggage carts. Be prepared to have to check them out though and leave your id until you return it! One side of the towers around the pool and hot tub had a mini tiki bar for drinks & the other side had a mini Starbucks and store for beach gear and drinks as well.

The hot tub jets don’t work , not the cleanest place and the beds were uncomfortable.

Beach access and condo was awesome

Elevators

Condo was great with lots of space. The elevators had some wait at times. The beach service is kinda expensive and ends at 4:30. Did not like getting kicked off chairs.

Location

Ceiling fan in the bedroom did not work and kept making a humming noise and needed to be replaced. The kitchen ceiling light was full of bugs. The refrigerator icemaker did not seem to make ice properly as it was empty and you could only get 2 cups of ice a day, and there was no broom in the unit.

Everything was good except the communication very bad attitude.

Condo was nice

The elevators were ridiculous! Wait was an hour! Won’t be back!

The stay with Tidewater was nice except the Elevators were horrible. The wait for the elevator was sometimes 10-20mins and we were on the 13th floor so every time we left the room we had to wait forever . That was a major bummer .That needs to be fixed. The weather was bad all day on Saturday so we missed 1 whole day . But the condo was clean and nice.

The facility was great. The condo was spacious and clean. The view was great! The private beach was clean. The staff was attentive and friendly.

The elevators were awful! They were slow. The wait was long for an elevator. The wait time was shorter when an attendant was in the elevator.
