Knights Inn Wabash

Upon arrival, the hotel lobby smelled like a bad nursing home. The room smelled of stale smoke and filth. The carpet was sticky and had a large strange spot on it. The air conditioner knob was broken so one night I could have air and next night it could be fan. The bathroom had pubic hair and hair from previous residents. The comforter and blanket had cigarette burns on it. I stayed 5 days and never received housekeeping. They emptied my trash and never changed the sheets or vacuumed. The bed folded up on the sides when I laid in it. The only good thing I could say is that the residents who reside there are nice and there was a picture of George Jones in the lobby. Love me some George.

Staff was friendly, but the place was terrible! Our room was filthy. There was actually used soap bar in the shower!! The floor was sticky. Gross

Only 2 small towels in a room for 4 persons, unacceptable. (we are a family of 3 in one room and 4 in other room). When I request extra towels the manager told me that he can leave the reception area in a very rude manner. but he does have time to LEAVE unattended the reception area to have a smoke outside of the property. what a a prick.!! :(

The place was good for the price and the pool was a new nice feature. There was no ice machine available and no breakfast or restaurant available. After requesting ground level we were still placed upper. They accommodated and switched me. Our mattress was like a pillow top. Aweful, so remember to ask.

There needs to ne updates to the property and some people are full time residents, notbhotel guests. The restaurant was not open.

Property is in terrible shape—run down and unclean. No plug in bathtub drain; hair on coffeemaker carafe; slow-to-nonexistent Internet; understaffed. No iron in the iron-holder, and when I asked at the front desk, I was told they didn’t know where it was, which left me in a predicament before a business meeting. Props to the kind front-desk agent who eventually found it and walked it to my room, though.

Staff was very friendly and speedy customer service. The staff was also accommodating. The rooms comfortable and clean.

We booked this because it was the cheapest option in town. There was a reason for that! It is very old, we were surprised to find that they still used physical keys instead of key cards, and the overall condition of the hotel was very poor. The staff were not very good. When I went to check out, and asked for a receipt, the desk clerk said I don't think I can do it. She finally got one printed, but I was not particularly pleased with the interaction.

Property is very basic. Clean rooms and friendly staff. It serves our needs when we are in the area for a very reasonable price.

Dirty towel left in the bathroom. Burns on the carpet. Otherwise everything was good.
