"Beautiful location well worth the trip - Great staff and food!"

While it was so much fun walking down "Dirty Dancing" memory lane, this beautiful mountain lodge is even worth the trip if not interested in the movie. Amazing, accommodating staff, fantastic food, a cool mountain breeze in the middle of summer, beautiful hiking trails, and a hot tub to relax in the evening. We're thinking about returning during the winter holidays to experience a completely different vibe.

We were there for a dirty dancing themed weekend. It was fabulous! Felt like I was in the movie. But besides that, the atmosphere is wonderful. You’re on a mountain, in the woods. Totally peaceful. Service was awesome. Food was delicious. Rooms highly appointed.

Everyone and everything at the Lodge was great. The vibe at Harvest could use an upgrade as could the menus, but the service was great. Maybe go for brighter, farm-to-table Appalachian vibe.

A great place to visit to get out in nature. Really enjoy hiking all of the trails, although some of them are overgrown and not clearly marked (but it adds to the vibe and the maps on AllTrails are spot on). Rooms in the main lodge are spacious albeit a little old. But clean and comfy. Overall a great place for a weekend getaway with the kids.

We had the most amazing time at our stay with mountain lake lodge, the staff was so kind, everyone we met was so kind. The food, the views, the room, I can't rave enough about it! We will be back next year!

"Such a charming retreat from the normal lodge. From dirty dancing to wilderness hiking a lil bit of a lot!"

This is a charming little retreat and a break from the norm. We stayed in the lake cottage, its private, secluded and quiet-simply prefect to watch the deer, rabbits and birds or enjoy a coffee on your own private porch. This cottage has ac and sometimes you feel like you need it others times the breezes are fabulous. This lodge has it all, great food, a nice selection of craft beers, thoughtful drink concoctions, beautiful views and 2 super pools. For the nature enthusiasts they have a lot of great hiking and nature over looks. It's amazing that this little slice of heaven is left untouched by human hands. Take a trip outside of the norm, come from the dancing stay for the harmony!
