Hotel Riviera

Very comfortable, clean rooms. We had a double bed plus an additional bed for our baby. The room also had a sofa and a table. The room was spacious. A tiny balcony jutted out of the room and overlooked a lane with a few gift shops and travelers walking towards the Roman temple (a couple of minutes from there). Ideal location to stay. Staff was corteous, and helpful. We had a wonderful three night stay at the hotel and would be happy to stay at the same hotel if we ever return to Evora.

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Evora. The hotel is quaint and the staff very kind and helpful. The only issue with the hotel is that the floors are creaky and there is not good insulation between floors. Try to get a top floor.

Great location , very good breakfast. Not enough TV channels in English- good for business people but not for travellers on holiday.

Hotel is located in the center of town on pedestrian only street. Taxi stand is close by on the main town square within easy walking distance. The room was small with old carpet. Buffet breakfast had limited but adequate selection. Good value.

We stayed in the hostel for 2 days.The location of the hostel is quite good, easy to find on the road leading to the cathedral. The staff was friendly and the breakfast provideed good choice of food. Overall a good quality hostel at a quite reasonable price.

Superb location! Fantastically friendly stuff. They even allowed us to use their private kitchen to prepare our small dinner. Rooms have medieval ceilings (my wife said it was like sleeping in a chapel- she did not like it). The building is on the foundation of Roman time!

Parking is a bit of a pain

The hotel was charming. We were concerned about parking, but it was not a problem. We followed the hotel signs. However, there was a problem with the youth Hostel at the corner. The young people were outside talking (in groups) until 4 in the morning. If there are rooms in the back of the hotel, off the street, ask for those rooms.

The location is great. It is right in the middle of the major shopping street and by a couple great restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful.
