Helpful staff and good breakfast

Initial impression was that the room was small, but adequate.

The hotel was charming and comfortable. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator and a long climb to our room. The room was very reasonably priced.

Very enjoyable but breakfast started at 8am which was a bit late for us.

Very well located, comfortable and clean.

Perfect location, rooms were cold and there was a hum all night, loud enough to keep you awake. The bed was very hard and very cold. Breakfast was very good.

The hotel had a nice location. The staff was helpful. The furniture in the room was a little run down, but the bed, the towels and the bathroom were clean. We couldn't keep the windows open for the fresh air at night because of the noise. But the air conditioning was working and the room temperature was comfortable.

Great little hotel on the main street. Great value for money, but needs a little money spending on it. Hotel entrance is lovely, with traditional tiling but smelt musty and the settee on show was shabby and made me feel 'oh no what are we in for...' Bathrooms (we saw a couple of them) had black in grouting and mouldy shower curtains. BUT they are clean and towels are lovely white and soft. Room quaint and very traditional with traditional furniture in. Very clean, but skirting boards weren't done regularly. Breakfast room - basic but all you need for a buffet breakfast without the frills. Not enough tables at busy time for everyone to sit down. Staff lovely. If they did the bathrooms up one by one this hotel would be fantastic value for money. All in all nice little hotel for the for money as the staff are charming.

Hotel is adorable, cozy and simple in a great location in the town center. A two minute walk of the main square, Praca do Giraldo and all sites. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. Carlos is precious. Loved this hotel.

I like this hotel so much. I'm going back again to stay. Love everything. Good service and room is very charming.
