Hotel Riviera

This charming small hotel is right in the center of town, located between the main square and the cathedral. The room was spacious, but the bathroom was cramped. It offers a nice breakfast buffet. The staff was friendly and helpful.

While we only stayed at the Hotel Riviera for one night, it was very pleasant and comfortable. It almost felt like being in a home. We were able to check-in early and found the room and bathroom incredibly spacious. While not a huge complaint, our double bed was actually two twin beds pushed together but otherwise all the accommodations were wonderful. Breakfast was included and served in a pleasant room. The location was convenient to Praica de Garibaldi and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend and stay here again.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. A fantastic Portuguese hotel, full of character. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Try and book a parking space in advance, if possible (via the hotel). We were lucky that there was a space available on the day and it is just a very short walk away along a pedestrianised street. A good breakfast and excellent value hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Obrigado!

Parked outside of the old walls for free and then it's a 15min walk to the hotel. The hotel is right where you want to be in Evora. Short five minute walk to the Roman temple. Nice Breakfast and very helpful front desk. Some people have mentioned street noise and I believe that would be a problem if people were being noisy. I heard someone rolling their luggage along the cobblestones one morning, but that was about it. The a/c worked very well, considering it was 105F/40C one day! Helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is older, but well maintained. It has character and isn't an Ibis or one of those sterile chain hotels. We thought it was lovely.

Lovely short break, with friendly staff. Would advise parking nearby and getting the staff to direct you to the hotel car park. Parking cost is additional (€10 per day in 2016)

Once you work out the parking it's great. Lovely room which was nice and quiet with a great breakfast to set you up for the day. It was only an overnight stop so didn't stay in the hotel for long but it's a lovely town and I'd stay in the same hotel again.

We enjoyed our stay in Évora. The location of Hotel Riviera was absolutely perfect and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel would benefit from new painting and carpeting in the rooms, but the facility was clean and breakfast was good.

It was fine. Disappointed in tourist trap atmosphere. Would hate to be here in high season.
