Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine

Too expensive, too crowded, food is awful. All this hotel's low reviews got wiped since they "remodeled". Proceed with caution.

Top notch service , amenities and cleanliness are the best

Location easy access from interstate. Friendly and knowledgeable staff Rooms were nice however the bathroom was a bit small for a suite. A bit pricey also would like a better breakfast option other than the buffet with a cost of $25 Parking for overnight guest should be free Definitely a family friendly facility.

Overall for the most of our trip our experience was wonderful. The bowling was a little unorganized as some families did not leave lanes between games like they were supposed to so the line got very long and small children got impatient. We didn’t have this issue but saw many others that did. My main issue was on our last night. A water pipe busted which I know happens and is beyond control. I was in the shower when the water was turned off to the resort with no warning. I had my hair full of shampoo. I figured this may be a temporary thing so I dried off with a towel and sat down to watch tv until the water came back on. After an out I messaged the chat line asking about the water. I understand things happen but after waiting nearly an hour for it to come back on because I didn’t want to be a bother the response I got was completely rude! I was polite and just asked what I should do. I was told “well you can come down to the conference bathroom and rinse in the sink the best you can but the water has been off an hour at this point. We can provide towels. The water will be off until 5:30 at least.” It was 12:30 at this point. Needless to say after being met with a very rude response I just used bottled water and got the shampoo out the best I could.

We go almost once a year or every 6 months if possible and this was the first time we went and service was horrible. We had no room service our entire stay. I had to stop room service in the hallways to get towels and such when needed or throw my trash in the hallway for it to get picked up. We even went to sleep without a blanket because we were told we would be on the urgent list to get a blanket taken to us and my kids were exhausted so we slept without one. First time that I’ve went and my service was beyond terrible.

Great time every year with super friendly helpful hospitality from staff. Loads of fun for the whole family!

I took my adult daughter and my 7 yo grandson to the Grapevine, TX location for the 3rd time. Overall we had a great time bc my grandson enjoyed himself. With that being said we first had a very unfriendly associate at the front desk during check in which was unlike our previous experiences. They were very busy so I let that go. Secondly the beds in the room were very uncomfortable and we also could never get the room cool enough but with that being said the room was very clean and nice and my grandson enjoyed the kid cabin unit which was new to him bc we have previously stayed in a standard room. The first night we were there the fire department had been called and the management came in on the intercom and told us to stand by but thankfully it was a false alarm. The second night we lost power for a little while but that was quickly restored. The food was good but I think the pricing on the breakfast was somewhat high for what we got but it was really good and was super clean. We had a good time but a few improvements would have lead me to give them 5 stars as in the past trips we have made there. I most likely will choose another location to take my grandson next time bc of these few problems we ran into.

My family and I had the best time! Hotel room was amazing! Water park and all activities we had a blast! Enjoyed all the meals and the breakfast buffet! Kiddos loved the wand quest and laser tag!

Great location, rooms were clean and lots of space

Wave pool is broken. Its barley making any waves at all. Some employees said the pumps weren't all working while others said it was fine. I've been to this location before as well as other locations and know that it is not working like last time or the previous times at different locations. My son who is on the spectrum comes for the wave pool and was very upset about it. The outdoor pool area again was shut down. This is 2 for 2. No explanation given. I got the dinning package, splash package and late checkout and had issues with the splash package. Employee was rude and not helpful. Used Tampons on the floor and diapers located in the shower floors. They were there all day. No employees picked up the bathroom. Im not sure I can blame them it was gross. The sprinkler system in the bathrooms as well as the bathrooms have what looks to be black mold growing on them, which is a major health concern. Im not sure what has happened with the upkeep of great wolf lodge, but I was very disappointed. I do have video and pictures I took as I was shocked by the upkeep, I'll include a few of them. To say the least very dissatisfied.
