Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine

The drink machines require scanning the QR code on the purchased cups. Several machines were out of order (the last time we went, they were out of order then as well), making people wait in ridiculously long lines to fill their drinks. The drink machines were also out of ice, and over the course of 4 hours after multiple employees were notified, they still had not refilled the ice in the drink machines. On top of all these things, the timer (only a few seconds are allotted) to fill your drink is just not acceptable. It’s just not logistical with the set up. Our room was not ready until 5:00 pm as opposed to 4:00 pm (not the end of the world, but it did require some altering of plans). I also have several charges to my bank account that were not authorized. With every purchase, it seems like they charge for whatever item plus incidentals. Literally every charge I have has an additional charge “just in case” we purchase something else within the next 24 hours. That is not ok to me, that prevents money from being used elsewhere as it is already being held in “pending” status with my bank.

We had so much fun at the one Grapevine, Tx! Loved being there! Nate, one of your front desk helpers, was amazing! He answered every question I had and made us all feel comfortable. I was having my daughter’s birthday here. The wolf package was great for my daughters. It was super clean and just beautiful experience! Thank you so much!

Secure, safe and fun ... no confusion ran by professionals. Location was great. They cared about you and your stay. I stopped here so I could finish some reports that I needed to get to some lawyers. I have nephews and nieces in the area so I got to be the cool aunt and they had a blast...

We were convinced to change our package and lost a lot more than we were told so we ended up spending hundreds more. Our reservation for the VR game was given away even with us standing there. We could not do bowling at all. The ropes course was closed due to weather. The outdoors was closed but I’m not sure it was because of weather. We were called about a special request cake for my daughter and the girls argued with me and my spouse had to help me explain someone called us and said it would be a sheet cake and have my daughters name on it. Finally we got it but there was a lot of rudeness and frustration with the employees. The lady at the little convenience store told us all the bad and how the front guest makes a commission and that’s why they told me the package change would benefit us however we lost our unlimited cup refills with the cups since we changed and so we had two people in our party without since they were $20 a cup. Also, she told us how cheaply made the cups are and how easily mold gets in them. The front desk lady also told me that I would be able to use my veterans card across the lodge for discounts, that was false as well. She said our kids would get ice cream with our passes especially since we had the bday package; that was not true either. My kids had fun, but they had no idea the stresses we had from our end as the parents. I do not think we will be back.

It was definitely a kids park; super busy and loud. Not the cleanest (bathrooms wise) but what can you expect from an indoor water park lol. Great customer service and overall a good time, but if crowds bother you, you might consider booking during the week or finding a slow time of year. From the kids: "It's so fun! The scary rides are fun for some people. The blue and green slides are just a blast. I couldn't find any water park better than that; I don't think it's even possible." The slides were super fun though and there were lots of them! The magi-quest thing was also pretty cool but, again, the amount of people made it hard to get through.

Our dinner experience at fireside was phenomenal! Stephanie was very gracious and hospitable with my 4yr old son. Thankyou!!

We absolutely loved the experience The activities, the story time, the dance parties everything was so much fun! We enjoyed the added on packages we did as well Totally recommend The food was great too

We came early and got in a long line of people and Allyson stepped in to greet each guest and ask what they needed to help with the line and went above and beyond for the guests in front of us and when she got to us. Extremely friendly, professional and clearly a TEAM PLAYER! All of the customer service has been amazing and as a first time guest this makes me already want to book my next visit.

We had a good time taking my grandsons to GWL. I did find it a little crowded. It was also difficult not being able to get into our room until 4. It would have been better if the room was available ealier. The food is very overpriced making it hard for larger families to afford to eat at the lodge. The kids had a lot of fun at the water park and arcade.

Nice place to stay with lots of family friendly activities. Waterpark is great for kids of all ages. Dining plan is difficult to use and adding ‘packages’ seems to not be worth the trouble as they are difficult to figure out how to use them. Dining places ran out of ice, drinks, and you cannot order for delivery from most places with the app. The TopGolf was also disappointing… spent all 30 minutes of our reservation trying to get it work…
