Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine

This whole resort was everything! The value and the quality of service was the absolute best. Great restaurants and amenities, the rooms were clean and had everything we needed and weren't noisy even though we all have kids, they whole place was clean which was very surprising bc again there are kids everywhere! I had a better time here than Disney world, Disney land and Legoland. I will definitely return and recommend.

We decided to do a "staycation" by visiting Great Wolf Lodge on a federal holiday using day passes. I wasn't sure how it would go because it was clearly going to be very crowded, given the holiday weekend. But we ended up having a WONDERFUL time! The #1 best thing I did was rent a cabana for the day. It gave us a place to rest in between activities and a home base for our stuff. It also helped us bypass many lines - the cabana came stocked with towels and a mini-fridge with bottled water, plus we could order food for delivery to the cabana with an assigned server. Worth every cent because it removed so much friction from the experience. The water park was very crowded, but there were so many things to do that it felt like everyone was spread out pretty evenly across the space. The lines for the slides weren't too bad (and gave our bodies a break between each ride). I was also surprised by how many things there were to do outside the water park - ropes course, bowling, laser tag, arcade. Wow, very fun! Although the price for bowling - unlike most of the other activities and the food (which were all within the realm of reason for an amusement park) - was outrageously high. My two rookie mistakes: There's a separate check-in desk for day passes, and we started in the wrong line. And we went to the ropes course too late to fully enjoy it - it says they close at 5, but it really starts shutting down at 4:45. One other compliment to Great Wolf Lodge - when you call the 800 number, it is possible to talk to a real human being. I made the reservation with a person, and when I need to correct something on my invoice, I spoke to a person. Really great day, and I would do it again.

I want to give the biggest thank-you to Diana at Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine. She went above and beyond and completely turned what could have been a horrible experience into a positive one. Her calmness, professionalism, and patience reassured us the entire time. Not once did she show attitude — she smiled, she was kind, and she was genuinely helpful from beginning to end. My family has been going through an extremely rough year. Our son was recently diagnosed with cerebral ataxia, and my mother-in-law is battling cancer. Stress has been high, and this trip was supposed to give us a little break. Diana made that possible. Her compassion and thoroughness meant more than she could ever know. We truly hope her managers and corporate see this and recognize what a gem they have on their team. Diana, thank you for making a hard season just a little bit brighter for our family. Your kindness made all the difference.

Amazing time again at the Great Wolf lodge! We love everything. Breakfast. Waking up with yoga. Waterpark. Arcade. All in one spot.

Melyssa made our stay above and beyond. We didn’t know anything about the cabanas and she offered us an opportunity to experience one, and we fell in love with it. Each time she saw us, she waved and greeted us, and helped out in every way each day. She was absolutely essential in the best vacation our family has had.

We stayed here from.friday to Sunday. We mined on Saturday and ran into the most sweetest worker you have here. She sangs songs, danced and taught us about the awesome rocks we now have. This lady was so special, we came back before we left on Sunday to do the big bag and say bye. Ms. Renee was truly an angel in disguise. Keep her around ❤️

have taken my kids 4-5 times and yes it’s overpriced but they always had fun so I continued to take them. I will not be taking them again after this trip scheduled. Great wolf does not care about the safety of their customers only about money even though they charge an absurd rate to families anyways. Grapevine is being hit with a massive ice storm expecting power outages and no travel and instead of being understanding of why people would need to reschedule they CHARGE A FEE just to reschedule and then make you pay over your previous rate to book. Their lack of customer service was outstanding. Not to mention I was on hold for an hour before I could get through to talk to someone.

Long story warning! If you would have asked me yesterday if I recommended GWL, I would have replied by asking, "is the Pope Catholic?" (Yes, of course.) But that all changed a few hours ago. My large family made 4 room reservations for this upcoming weekend. GWL was going to make some good money off of us. However, as the weekend drew nigh, it became apparent a major winter storm was set to hit all of Texas and Oklahoma. Forecasted ice and snow that would rival an Alaskan Christmas. Problematic for us since we're driving in from North-central Oklahoma. I figured I'd call and see if I could move our date to give us some peace of mind. That's when I learned any other weekend would be near double what we were set to pay for this weekend... and on top of that, they wanted a re-booking fee. The news made me wanna stand up and slap my neighbors momma! My wallet literally quivered in my pants pocket upon receiving this terrible news. Try as I might, the person on the other end of the phone wouldn't budge. Nice fella, but said he was just doing what he was told to do... the same thing defendants claimed during the Nuremburg Trials. This nice gentleman put me in contact with his supervisor, Esmeralda. Beautiful name, terrible customer service. Esmeralda gave me 2 options: cancel outright and forfeit my entire deposit, or make the drive and put my family at risk of being another statistic for driving on icey highways. Suddenly, Esmeralda offered me half-off. Like shopping at a shady pawn shop, Esmeralda told me she would waive half of the cancelation fee and only charge me $50. Oh Esmeralda, if you could make this happen, I'm sure you could just refund my entire deposit. But no... like Lady Liberty, Esmeralda stood firm and true. There was no wavering in her commitment to make GWL $50. After hanging up on each other, I came up with another idea. I would call and ask to move my stay up one day. This would allow me to avoid "SNOWMAGEDDON". This time, I was told we would have to pay an extra $70 to move our stay up one date. I couldn't believe my ears. Long story short: GWL is terrible. They don't care about their customers. They're completely fine with you putting your family in danger. Their customer service call center is garbage. Thats it. Never again will I go to GWL. Nor will I ever recommended it to other families. OKANA in OKC is looking better and better every day. Loyal customer no more.

This is my first time here. I am attending a conference for 5 days. John listened to my challenge and offered a great solution. Excellent judgement and customer service. Impressed with the whole team.

This experience was horrible. My son was having a medical emergency and they would not allow us to check into our room for privacy 20 minutes early. I do not recommend they do not care about anyone’s lives here.
