Iberostar Waves Las Dalias -All Inclusive

We spent a week over Christmas in the Las Dalias. We found everything to be of a very good standard and without doubt we will be returning. The food offering daily whether breakfast, lunch or dinner was outstanding. The drinks available also suited our palate. The Gala dinner on Christmas day itself was without doubt the best we have experienced in 40 years of going to the Canaries at this time. Again the entertainment programme and animation team was perfect with activities happening each and every day. The hotel itself is well laid out with beautiful pool areas and outdoor theatre . Our bedroom -309-suited us perfectly. Special mention to Juanpe one of the waiting staff who was simply outstanding and Alex from Paris of the animation team who is an exponent of the art of petanque. See you all next year.

Second stay and unfortunately we will not be returning. While the staff are generally friendly and the food is good, our experience raised serious concerns around safety and overall standards. The cot provided was unsuitable, as our 20-month-old was able to climb out of it. In addition, the balcony door in our room could not be locked, which left us feeling unsafe overnight incase he climbed out. Although the manager did assist in arranging a safer cot, it was disappointing that this came at an additional cost of €35 to us, despite the issue being safety-related. The clientele really let this place down too, generally most are pleasant however as a review below stated - there is a rougher crowd! (Loud, northern , tattooed type) I politely asked some older children that were in the baby pool to be considerate of the babies for their father to come over and tell me he would ‘kick me in the F*cking face’ as I had my 1 year old baby in my arms. Their mother then kept coming over like a broken record telling them to continue splashing! Perhaps if they were supervising their children as they should have been I wouldn’t have had to speak to them. Anyhow, hope he got her a gum shield for Christmas, Lord knows she probably needs it 🤣. We’ll head somewhere with a little more class next Christmas. Finally - hotel photographers. Constantly wanting to take photos of my baby who wasn’t really interested but they were very persistent and wouldn’t get the message and move on when he wasn’t happy with being pestered.

Reading recent reviews on this place I must of stayed at different hotel!! Definitely not 4 star more like a 3. Plus points staff very friendly and the food was ok too with plenty of choice. The reception/public areas were dressed really nice but delve a little deeper such as the bedrooms & corridors and it’s a different story. Sooo depressing & outdated!!! No tea/coffee making facilities in your room unless you pay 10 euros for a kettle and it’s 3 euros per day for the safe. Plenty of kiss mi quick hat kind of people and I’ve never seen so many tattoos in one place oh and let’s not forget the foam party’s and the like. Loud thumping music till 11 so if you fancy an early night forget it. Another bug bear was the in house photographers! Such pests always asking if you want your picture taken. I certainly won’t be back here.

Stayed 12th to 19th December we had lovely holiday on arrival we were greeted at reception with welcome drinks of wine asked if we would like to upgrade which we did room was very nice large terrace two sunbeds on it all staff are very friendly food was nice we have been before and will return

I was not happy with my stay here, the room i got when I arrived 609 was awful ,facing the motorway with a big brick balcony, I rang reception and asked to be moved , next day at 1pm I got another room 545 facing a carpark, not much better in my opinion, although the bed was comfy with nice clean bedding and nice pillows.,so wasted the first part of my holiday moving rooms and unpacking. Aircon is terrible and you can't adjust it , furniture is really old and needs replacing. Pool area was packed, sunbeds are so close together,I would hate to see what its like in summer, and most had towels on by 8am, so I went to the beach, The food was really nice , although I had raw poached eggs and the fried eggs are burnt to a crisp , pastries were also burnt most days , then had a member of staff asking me to do a survey white I was trying to eat my breakfast, which I didn't appreciate. I had always wanted to stay at this hotel but won't be returning or recommending, did not enjoy my stay at all , although the staff were nice and helpful

We stayed at the hotel from the 13th to the 20th December as a family of six. Two adults 3 teens and a nine year old. We had sea facing interconnected rooms and one separate double room. The view from the rooms was fantastic and we had beautiful sunsets. We had an amazing holiday. We all enjoyed the food , drinks and the incredible self serve cava! The pool temperature in the large swimming pool was great and there were lots of sun lounges available. The staff and really fantastic here. The bar staff, restaurant staff, cleaners, reception staff and the entertainment team all do such a fantastic job everyone is so friendly. We have stayed at this hotel many times and they have retained lots of their staff over the years so it’s lovely to see them when we return. My son had an incredible couple of days surfing in las Americas and we all went to Siam park which is an easy 5 minute stroll round the corner. We enjoyed popping over to San Eugenio shopping centre a few times which is just opposite the hotel. We had a fabulous pre Christmas break and hopefully will return again soon! Great location for bars and restaurants and not far to walk to the beach and the main drag of bars and eatery's can be bit hard on the less mobile to walk but taxi's and of course you can hire the mobility scooter the hotel was excellent extremly clean all over rooms changed everyday room and shower room great size plenty of room balcony spot on all hotel staff very helpful and pleasant we were Ai and can't complain different meals everyday fantastic selection of food somthing for everyone the alchoholic choices were excellent as well never waited long to be served at any of the bars over all loved our stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to book again thank you to all at the hotel for making our holiday

When you arrive made so welcome and that is what makes a holiday. All staff are fantastic. Restaurant is fantastic and after having just head outside where an excellent entertainment is every night.

Been here so many times. Everything is AMAZING. Food, staff, environment, facilities. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more.

Could never get near the pool as all beds reserved from 5am. Tattooed northern gorillas strutting around like it was a catwalk despite them being far from attractive. Screaming uncontrolled kids everywhere. The food was ok, not great. Beds uncomfortable Z type beds., we paid extra to upgrade our room to have a private verandah and sunbed, this was actually worth it. Reception staff good especially Raquel
