Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage, Goa

We visited Taj Cidade de Heritage between 30th March to 2nd April 2026. On arrival, the welcome was impeccable. Nikita greeted us wonderfully and the arrangements to make us feel so special, given our celebrations, just added an added layer of gloss. I am so very grateful to Nikita and her team for all the arrangements and her support beyond, Valentina at Cafe Azul, the team at Larinza and everyone who made us feel right at home. The outing recommendations from Nikita was also top notch. I will definitely come back again and will recommend the property to anyone looking for home like feels in Goa

We have been staying at other Taj hotels every year on our visit to Goa, but this time we wanted to try Cidade de Goa Heritage after reading about recent renovations. We are glad we chose Cidade de Goa Heritage! The front office personnel - all of them - were courteous, polite, and extremely professional. While it's hard to remember everyone's names, the few that do need a big shout-out include Avinash for his generosity and responsiveness to our requests, Vikas for his utmost understanding, and Gaurav for his patience in answering numerous questions. A special mention of Tripti, Nikita, and other female staff at the front desk. My father fell sick, and they promptly arranged medicine for him. The security manager also came to check in on us. We were really impressed by each one of them; they truly reflect the Taj spirit. We ate at Laranja and Cafe Azul during our stay. Laranja has the most lavish buffet spread ever, and everything was so delicious. Kudos to the chefs. Cafe Azul is where we had most of our meals, and the staff who looked after us were pretty much there every time, and I have to say that their service was impeccable. The hotel itself is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and offers great views of the Arabian Sea. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly Taj experience, not very far from Panjim city!

Cidade de Goa is a truly beautiful and scenic property that perfectly blends luxury with a relaxed beachside vibe, much like the signature experience of Taj Hotels. The lush greenery, stunning sea views, and charming Portuguese-style architecture make it feel both elegant and welcoming. The beach access is a big highlight, offering peaceful mornings and breathtaking sunsets. The rooms are comfortable, the food is excellent, and the service is warm and attentive. Overall, it’s a great choice for a serene and memorable Goa getaway.

We had a very good experience during our 5-night stay at Taj Cidade de Goa Heritage. I stayed with my wife and our two daughters (7 years and 1 year old), and everything was very comfortable and enjoyable for our family. The highlight of our stay was celebrating our younger daughter’s first birthday at the hotel, which made it truly special and memorable. The staff was warm, courteous, and always ready to help. The overall hospitality, ambience, and service were excellent. We really appreciated the smooth check-in, clean rooms, and family-friendly environment. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant. We would definitely love to visit again and recommend this property to our friends and family.

My experience at the property was unfortunately not very satisfying. While the property itself is absolutely stunning and truly beyond appreciation, the service and overall guest experience did not meet expectations. We stayed for four nights with our two children, but at no point did we feel the signature warmth and hospitality one would typically associate with the Taj brand. There was a noticeable lack of personal touch from the staff—basic gestures like greetings, cheerful welcomes, or even a warm goodbye were largely missing. One particularly disappointing moment was during breakfast, where we witnessed staff members arguing loudly with each other, which detracted from the overall ambiance. Additionally, the food at Cafe Azul was quite average and did not stand out. The checkout experience was also rather impersonal—simply a transaction with no effort to engage or ask about our stay. In our previous family travels, we have always experienced a level of warmth and care that made us want to return. Unfortunately, that feeling was missing here. There were several other small aspects that didn’t feel quite right, which collectively impacted our stay.

we checked into sea view room which was decent in size, later we upgraded to suite, which was definitely better and offers a great view of beach. Suite was spacious and well equipped with all essentials, just missing the second washroom when you are with family. Food was fabulous and ample of veg choice for adults and kids as well. plenty of activities for kids. water sport activities was also offered at beach with all safety and security. Staff service was exceptional especially at the time of check-in and at Dinning area. Only one thing annoying and disturbing was making reel / mobile videography by most of the people / guest at the restaurant and buffet area. Hotel must take some measure to avoid making reel and let them and other to enjoy food and ambience.
