Dreams Puerto Morelos Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

This resort has just become a Dreams, so perhaps it just needs time to adjust. The food was ok, the pools were great, though a bit cold most of the time. There is zero beach, so if that’s important to you, skip this resort. We did walk about half a mile to a swimmable beach, but it was treacherous with rocks, slime, and tons of seaweed. The resort was pretty inexpensive, and we didn’t allow the drawbacks to ruin our vacation. The rooms are very clean and nice, and housekeeping did a fantastic job every single day.

Our stay at Dreams Puerto Morelos exceeded our expectations and our family had an amazing time. The rooms were a great size and very comfortable, though we would have loved to see more king-size bed options. There were plenty of food choices overall, and The Corner was a standout for lunch and poolside lounging. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired pizza and only wished it was available later in the evening as a late-night treat. Another major highlight was Roots Coffee Bar—hands down the best coffee bar we’ve ever experienced at an all-inclusive resort. It quickly became part of our daily routine. A big thank you to Maxamilliono, Sarahi, and Adriana for their warm morning greetings and constant smiles. We traveled with our three children, ages 9, 6, and 4, and the resort was a huge hit for them. They loved the waterslides and spent plenty of time at the splash pad, which worked well for all three ages. The entertainment team did a great job creating fun, inclusive activities—we especially enjoyed the noon water aerobics, and my son absolutely loved the beach soccer. Food options during the day were plentiful and worked very well for picky eaters at lunch. For dinner, however, it would be helpful if all restaurants could offer a few simple kids’ staples like French fries or chicken tenders, and if the buffet included a more robust kids’ section, as evening options felt more limited. The service truly made this resort shine. From arrival to departure, every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy—something you notice right away and really appreciate. It’s worth noting that this resort is very family-focused. From a couples-only perspective, the adults-only pool felt underwhelming as it’s tucked away at the back, and most entertainment is geared toward all ages. If it were just my husband and I traveling without children, I would likely choose a different resort—but for families, this is exactly what you want. While there isn’t a traditional swimmable beach, the resort made good use of sandy lounging areas. However, improving access to swimming in the ocean would be a welcome enhancement. Nighttime entertainment was excellent, though the sound levels were a bit louder than necessary. Overall, this vacation exceeded our expectations. Our kids had an incredible time, and I cannot emphasize enough how consistently kind and cheerful the staff were throughout our stay. We left with wonderful memories and would confidently recommend Dreams Puerto Morelos to families traveling with children.

Disappointment of no beach onsite. Very liminted daytime acivities and nightly shows. One positive thing is the room is nice and large compare to other resorts in the area.

We felt so well taken care of and truly at home the entire stay. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, especially the entertainment team and our favorite waiter: Williams and hostess: Fernanda who went above and beyond. We will definitely be returning!

There was great entertainment like the circus, the workout and yoga staff and the dietitian. It was a rocky drive to the resort but other than that is was good. The views were amazing. I just wish that there was more beach to enjoy. We could not swim in any part of the ocean. We (especially my kids) loved the circus and the nutritional trivia and games that they played with Misty (the nutritionist). The room was big but we had some problems with the TV and bathroom. There are only drinks available in the room but room service was amazing! The room was very clean our entire stay.

If you stayed at Hyatt Ziva Riveria Maya don't except that experience, it's not nearly as good. Wish the resort had stayed the Ziva, it was so much better.

We had a great stay. The food service and accommodations were wonderful. Our butler Kenia went above and beyond. She accommodated all of our needs. The preferred breakfast was really good. The waiters were excellent.

My boyfriend and I are staying at Dreams Puerto Morelos this week, and overall we’ve been pleasantly surprised. The variety of food is impressive, and everything we’ve tried so far has been genuinely delicious — definitely above average for an all-inclusive resort. The highlight of our stay has been the spa. We booked a therapy session, and the staff there were absolutely incredible. They treated us with so much care and warmth, and we left feeling completely relaxed and renewed. I strongly recommend trying a massage at the spa center — it’s 100% worth it.

Overall a nice trip. Rooms very very spacious and clean. Loved the Italian and French restaurant. Room service was good. We ordered a dessert and came right on time. No beach here but we went for the day to Isla Mujeros which was amazing.
