"Tranquil Honeymoon"

10.0

We had a fabulous honeymoon here and left a full review on trip advisor for other potential guests. The hotel and restaurant are lovely, well kept, with friendly and out of their way helpful staff. The room was spacious and clean and everyone would say hello in the passing. its very rural and we found that car hire is a must.

"Lovely setting but that is it. Shame."

4.0

Disappointing because the scenery around the hotel is wonderful but the hotel could do so much better. Could do better in these ways; Standard of food - could offer much variety - breakfast and lunch quite basic. We ate out every night because the restaurant menu wasn't to our taste. Maybe more of a personal issue but guaranteed we would have stayed there if there were more options. Annexe - stayed there and although peaceful there was skeleton staff. We constantly had to hunt round for someone to order us drinks or lunch. It was very frustrating. Also it appeared that the person ordering the food for us had to actually cook it. If we wanted an ice cream the member of staff had to drive to the main hotel and pick up. Staff friendliness - hit and miss and one extreme to the other. Either really lovely and helpful or simply dreadful

"Good hotel with nice pool area and restaurant"

8.0

Nice hotel, good pool and excellent pool area. Never too crowded during our visit. Restaurant not particularly cheap, but food was very good. Wifi was available and the room was spacious. Breakfast buffet was also very good. Hotel is in the countryside and not quite easy walking distance from the village so would recommend using the hotel as a base and having a hire car or bikes to explore the surrounding area.

"A Tranquil Piece of Inland Mallorca"

10.0

Spent a week here in June - sun everyday and beautiful surroundings - the hotel is set in a large estate with olive and almond trees, sheep and a mountainous backdrop. The room was in the annexe over the spa, with terrace overlooking the estate, very comfortable with decent bathroom. The facilities are excellent - pool, fitness centre with massage parlour, bike hire, horse riding, walking - lots of distractions to keep you on or close to the site for much of the time (though did manage to bike it to LLuc Monastery - the push there was worth the "ride" back!) The food was delicious, all taken on the pleasant terrace. Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. A really relaxing week - and being inland, no biting things to contend with!

"Perfect peace.......a relaxing retreat"

10.0

We absolutely loved our stay, it was exactly what I hoped it would be. I booked it as a surprise for my partners birthday. I rang the hotel 2 days before hand to check on a couple of requests that I had and they were very polite and helpful on the phone . Our room was absolutely beautiful and the views were wonderful .Nestled at the base of the mountains surrounded by olive trees. The staff are not intrusive and are very polite, the restaurant has fantastic views from the terrace and we found the waiters really courteous and friendly. The food was great especially the desserts...... you have to leave room as they are delicious. I cannot fault anything, it met my expectations and more. Would I go back........absolutely.....I have stayed in many hotels in Majorca (i prefer rural hotels) but i often find something missing but this has been the best all round to date and if you like the countryside and to get away from it all then this is perfect , peace and quiet but only 35 mins drive from Palma and 20 minutes from Pollensa.

"Beautiful mountain setting"

8.0

It rained during our stay so the hot tub, indoor pool and suana made our stay at Monnaber Nou well worth it. The setting was ideal for countryside walks and hikes and a good location for exploring the north of the island. There was only one veggie option for dinner and food was on the more expensive side. Staff was warm and friendly.

10.0

Came here for 5 days R and R September sun with a friend. Was perfect. Beutiful pool area and super food. The olive oii was out of this word; I just wish I was not travelling easy jet with only hand luggage. Would loved to have bought a bottle home. Note to self to bring 5 100ml bottles to decant a bottle into!!

"Beautiful small hotel in peaceful surroundings"

8.0

We stayed at the Hotel Rural Monnaber Nou. It is located in a very rural setting and the veranda overlooks a beautiful mountain vista, which can be enjoyed while eating breakfast al fresco. You need to hire a car to make the most of your stay unless you want to be confined to the hotel and we explored some of the north of the island which is unspoilt and is within easy reach of Campanet. Palma is about a 40 minute drive away for the airport. The rooms are large and have air-con units. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout and has very nice indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It's a great place for adults to relax and unwind. Probably not great for children though. The hotel was basically a wealthy landowner's house before it was converted. The best part about the hotel is that it is situated in its own land which is farmed organically. The hotel restaurant therefore provides a very high standard of food which is also good value for money. We wished we had dined there more after getting fleeced in a tourist trap in Palma! In terms of stuff to do around the hotel, you can go hiking, cycling (bike available for hire) and horse riding. There are beautiful villages in stunning scenery within short drives of Campanet. This hotel's location is probably not ideal for people who mainly want to go the beach every day though.

"RURAL MAJORCA HOTEL WELL WORTH A VISIT"

8.0

MONNABER NOU and SPA - if you want to get away but want peace and quiet, good food, look no further . It is isolated , so if you want to explore you will need a car. We were happy to stay around the hotel, hired bikes for a couple of days - perfect for our needs. Beautiful location, the actual manor house has a very impressive driveway, wonderful open terraced restuarant, with awarding winning food, stunning views. We stayed in rooms in the annex, building at bottom of driveway, small , rustic, and quiet. Most days we had the pool to ourselves with one or two other couples. Our 2 teenage children were with us, they also enjoyed the peacefullness , good quality time was spent by the pool then amazing dinners at the manor house, with a stroll back down the driveway at the end of the evening. Would recommend highly for short break, if staying longer you would need a hire car
