"Uncomfortable bed, unacceptable for the price"

6.0

Nice hotel, but the bed was very uncomfortable (hard, noisy because of the bed springs and you could feel when the other person moves). Location: the hotel is located 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral. The neighborhood was a bit quiet at nights, but it was only one and a half blocks that were dark, and since the neighborhood is mostly residential it doesn't feel as lonely. Room: Hard bed, old furniture which was charming, but not very well kept (one of the night tables was falling apart), no hooks to hang towels or anything else. Very good heater. The hotel book a taxi for us to go to the train station which is 5 minutes away (in car), and we were charged $150 pesos for that ride, which is more than what we paid to get from the airport to the hotel. Important advice: Confirm the price before accepting the ride.

"Vintage Hotel ~ Nice"

8.0

This boutique hotel selected by our tour operator Copper Canyon Adventure Tours(CCAT) was a 100 year old residence converted to a charming vintage 6 room hotel. Small courtyard entrance to our room, nothing fancy or modern but quaint decor. WiFi was better than expected. Great breakfast. Became friends with the owner’s cousin , Hector who covered the afternoon shift but was an art teacher in the local area. To our surprise he gave us a beautiful Talavera platter. Very unexpected!! This was a nice hotel close to the center of Chihuahua.

"Quirky Boutique Hotel"

8.0

Quaint rooms in an old building with very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast. The hotel is ideally placed between the main square and the University area with many bars and restaurants The rooms have air con but as it's an old building I got bitten by mozzies at night so you might want to use insect repellant

"MAS O MENOS BUENO"

8.0

"Nice"

Ancient and renovated house. The neighborhood is so calm as the same home. The rooms are very comfortable with old furniture but very nice. I can say that the attention and breakfast were the best. I will back there.

"Lots of character"

8.0

The most unusual and nicest thing about the hotel for me were the traditional dining room and living rooms. We had breakfast at a large table in the dining room with other guests, which was very pleasant (and the food was great). We relaxed in the living room whenever we wanted. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The wifi was strong. The decor is historical, which is interesting, but it made my room seem cluttered and out-of-date. My friend's room was simpler, brighter, and more pleasant. The bathrooms are modern and clean. Plenty of hot water.

"Welcoming atmospere, very private"

8.0

this is converted residence built in the traditional colonial Mexican style, i.e all rooms are around a small patio. Our room got its only daylight from a small window to the patio like we experienced at many other small hotels of this kind in Mexico. The owner was very friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home. When we aske for a pizzeria nearby, he suggested to have a pizza delivered and eat on the patio. He set the table for us without being asked!

A very nice place that resembles the colonial "casonas" or "haciendas" you feel transported in time in between those walls

"Perfect"

8.0

The hotel has everything you might need, but nothing superfluous. The rooms are clean, large and the bathroom was well appointed. The staff didn't speak much English, but we're cheerful and happy to deal with my bad Spanish skills. We had some misunderstandings but all my fault the the staff remained cheerful and helpful throughout.
