This hotel is gross. I never leave negative reviews but made it a point to because it was disgusting. Reeks of cigarette smoke, piles of dirty laundry in the hall, around the pool, in the elevator. Amenities like laundry services don’t work. Our bathroom light wouldn’t even turn on. The bathroom door was rotted and looked like there had been water damage all around the bottom of the bathroom walls and our room smelled so bad, almost like urine. The pool was greenish and had stuff floating on top of the water, I wouldn’t let me son get in. The breakfast was some old, hard biscuits with gravy, whiteish gray sausage and the juice machine didn’t even work. The staff was on their personal cellphone, yelling profanities when I walked by with my kid. Could we have gotten a refund we would’ve found something else upon walking in the door but you live and learn. Do yourself a favor, pay a little extra and stay somewhere clean and safe.

Overalll property is not well maintained. First room light in bathroom didn’t work, bathroom door sponged. Moved to a second room, indoor lock broken, air conditioner leaking water and rug drenched, microwave severely rusted inside, bathroom leaks and nasty stain in shower, bathroom walls had black mold, pool closed by DH and saw a couple in the pool with a kid, lobby with fans no air conditioner, tables sticky, elevator with trash in the floor. Photos are misleading. Overall not a place for guests or even a safe work environment. I have never had a bad experience as this ever!

I booked a room online on July 4 and arrived at the hotel within hours on July 4 (night). I actually tried to cancel on July 4 while at the hotel. I booked a room that was not available. I was given a different room at a higher rate and hotel was direty, in disrepai, and unsafe. I was very disappointed with the hotelsnd now the manager. The quality was well below what I expected and from what I read. First, the room that I reserved was not available. I was given a different room and at a higher price rhan the rate booked. The room has mold in multiple areas. The air conditioner audibly leaks water in the room (where the air con unit is located). The drip sound was loud enough to hear. I recorded it. The furniture was damaged. The closet door was broken. The deadbolt lock did not work (could not use deadbolt). Also, the door was extremely hard to close from inside and outside the room. There was "hair" on the bed and it was not mine. The hotel elevator was dirty. There was one positive thing. The clerk could not resolve my concerns. I told her that I wanted to cancel. She said I would have to ask the hotel manager the next day. I left the hotel because I did not feel safe. I did not sign the invoice at check-in. I called the next day on July 5 and asked for the manager but no one returned my call. I am still waiting. Please assist. I would like a full refund. Thank you for your!

Was placed in two separate room and both smelled bad like rotting fish. Ended up not staying here and found another hotel.

It was very poorly kept. The door is broken, the toilet was running all night the room was dirty, the blanket was dingy and the list goes on

Lobby air was out, no toilet paper or bath stopper, dirty room- everywhere— dirty. Was informed DHEC has closed the pool.

The desk clerk and housekeeping were both very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but the toilet ran constantly and took forever to fill back up. However the stay was very good as was the complimentary breakfast.

Unacceptable

Our room was nasty. The shower had Mildew and mold. The mini fridge was dirty and the chair had stains. Just over all dirty and gross. We checked out right away and went somewhere else. This place should be shut down and thoroughly cleaned. The only thing that was good about this place was the front desk associate, she was very nice.
