Hotel Riu Montego Bay - Adults Only - All Inclusive

Beautiful location, excellent and always abundant food. The variety of food, pools, drinks, entertainment provided was very impressive. We felt very safe and relaxed throughout our stay.

The housekeeping was rather invasive, knocking in an insisting way to ask if the room needed to be cleaned, even rather early in the morning.

This is thr perfect party resort.

Have stayed many times at the Riu Palace Las Americas and have genuinely loved it, so I was confident booking here would be wonderful as well. Boy was I wrong!!! I know it’s Jamaica and reggae is popular here, but this is not the Riu Reggae. 90%+ of the music was reggae and most of the rest was hip hop. Virtually no pop music. They seem to cater only to younger people of color here. Also the a good portion of the entertainment staff and hotel staff are snippy and not customer service oriented. They wouldn’t even let me use a small blue tooth speaker at the pool before the entertainment music started. People around me were enjoying the music I played, yet they still told me I couldn’t use the speaker.

Would have been a great review had we not faced the awful experience of bedbugs in this resort. Avoid Room 0003, block 1. Headboard full of bedbugs, found on floor and in bed. We’re covered in bites and now managing the stress of trying to ensure we don’t carry anything back to our home.
