Too smelly inside the room and some of electronic item need to improve or replace ..

I choose this place, because they have an indoor pool, but unfortunately, they did not allow us to use the pool because of the the "Rain". This is indoor supposed to be we can use it. And the first room we got is not clean, and the room was open, there hallway smells and every floor, I spoke with their Hotel Manager or Superior, She's being nice after I completely complain about the room in 11th Floor. Anyway the Manager decided to give us a different room, I'm just okay with it, but not 100% they really need to improve their cleanliness to attract more Tourists to visit Malaysia specially the new ones.t

Good choice for spending some days in Kota Kinabalu. The staff from very beginning was nice and helpful. Hotel was chosen to be a starting point for trips with rent car to Sepilok, Poring and KK surroundings. Far from city centre getting there without car may take some time/cost (taxi, bus etc). There is a shopping mall 1Borneo, and some 24h shops nearby. There is no parking lot. Car can be parked on paid parking next to mall. Parking directly in front of hotel costs 6 MYR. Room was clean and tidy. Everyday bed was made and botteled water provided. WIFI good connection. Breakfast buffet - much to choose for everybody. Pool on 7th floor clean, but surroundings not; of course mess was made by the guests, but hotel service shall be interested more.

Comfortable overall but attacked by bed bugs. Doubt about the room cleanliness.

Swift check in service, good air conditioning. However, a bit disappointed with the bath tub drainage as the water could not flow out as it was stuck.

The food for sahur wasn't that imptessive. Should improve considering the time to eat early in the morning. If it was actual bteakfast things were better. Just maintain the same expectation would do. Tq

Stay was good. staff handle with hospitality. room service was very good. will look for the same hotel in future stay.

first i was quite excite to stay in this hotel. However I was cheated by the photo in the websites, the hotel is quite rundown and need some renovation. After taken the shower, the water hardly go down to the drain. The door not able to close properly. I have changed three rooms in three different days the room are all same. I have staying one day in suite room but condition better than the superior room. Breakfast was suck. will not recommend this hotel.

Was able to get early check in which was so nice as we had taken the red eye. Hotel was quite far from downtown - takes about 30 mins from the airport to downtown then give or take another 20 - 30 mins from downtown to 1Borneo depending on the traffic jam that day. Taxi from airport would cost MYR 50 while from downtown MYR 30 so costs could add up just with transportation alone. Location is convenient when taking tours as it was on the way to city highlights such as Kinabalu Park, Poring Springs, River Cruise et al. Max from the front desk was especially helpful and even provided good insight on which places to go to / tours to book. Food was quite dismal - breakfast a sorry affair. The only redeeming dish I tasted was the beef rendang. You'd be better off taking your meals elsewhere. The mall right beside offers a multitude of options. My fave finds were Nandos, Nur Balgis and My Kitchen Curry House. Room had a nice view and had the usual toiletries as well as a flat iron. Hotel also had a pool but the gym was not open while we were there. Loved the chair massager by the lobby.

Don't even bother bringing 2-piece coz most people swimming are all covered. Breakfast choices are good. There's nothing much in the mall. I did not really enjoyed my stay here. I was here alone on vacation for 3days. My advise is to choose hotel thst is within city center, kk is not as fun as KL so nevermind the cost per night. However, hotel staff is good, they let me extend 2hrs for free from the 1pm check out time.
