"A memorable 40th Wedding Anniversary but not in a good way!"

Good location. Nice grounds and easy parking. Probably an OK property without the problems we experienced.

Not initially being given the garden view or sea view room we were promised on Booking.Com. We were eventually moved rooms after complaining to a suitable room. We were then locked out of our room for 2 hours on the second evening due to a faulty lock, requiring us to sit in the bar and unable to access important medication. The door was eventually jemmied open by the handyman. We also were given an incorrect bill in the restaurant that could have meant our meal was mistakenly charged to another room had we not spotted it. Altogether a 40th Wedding Anniversary to remember but not really for the reasons we had anticipated.

"Epic Afternoon Tea"

A wonderful Afternoon Tea in a beautiful countryside setting near Sheringham Norfolk. An abundance of savoury and sweet treats, beautifully presented and high quality, made by the fabulous chef and team. Went to The Dales for Afternoon Tea. What a wonderful experience from the reception right through to the end. This is a wonderful venue and the Afternoon Tea experience was exceptional. Staff are so helpful and professional so thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

For me a repeat stay. A beautiful hotel in a beautiful place.

They still have not corrected the spelling „desiccated„ on a sign at the breakfast buffet. That is my only complaint!
