"Valladolid stay "

10.0

This was a great place. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were not many English speakers. Our only problem was the smell of sewer had in our bathroom. Our son and daughter did not have that problem in their two rooms. We would stay here again and plan to.

"Easy place to stay"

8.0

The staff was very nice and helpful. Access to the hotel was easy and safe. Parking was onsite and off the street. The grounds were very well kept and very clean. The rooms were simple but nice. The hotel was very clean and the restaurant bar had a good selection and good hours. It was away from the city center but a easy was if wanted to go. Only complaint was the water pressure everything else was good.

"Overall disappointed with this hotel"

6.0

We found that this hotel wasn't at all as good as the reviews suggest. It's a large hotel with apartment-like rooms in several nice buildings, lots of greenery and the garden around the main entrance is nice. Our room was in the furthest section away from the entrance so there was no wifi which, even in the entrance, was not great. The room smelt quite damp, the lighting was terrible and the bed was incredibly hard. The air conditioner dripped water down the wall and onto our luggage. In the bathroom there was a large bath with jets around the edges which I thought I'd take advantage of... after filling the bath up past the jets it began to fill with muck - the bath was obviously not thoroughly cleaned! Also, the pathways through this hotel are incredibly slippery after rain, my partner fell and hurt his shoulder. The hotel is not in the centre of Valladolid so a car is necessary. Would not return.

"Beautiful Hotel"

10.0

We had a lovely time at this hotel. It's beautiful, safe, and the staff was wonderful. It was conveniently located near the major roadways entering town. WiFi in the room. Room was large, clean, A/C, and charming. Free gated parking included. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but the hotel had a very nice restaurant we ate at for breakfast. The main town square is a hefty walk, but we had a car to wander around town.

"Convenient to visiting the coba ruins "

8.0

The hotel is just off the highway as you head into Coba. We almost drove past it ... the wifi was slow but doable. The grounds were lovely. The king size bed comfy. The breakfast was fresh fruit toast and coffee self serve. When we drove into coba to eat we found one restaurant open and were the only customers. But the proximity to the archaeological site made the hotel worth the money. We were at the ruins before the hoards arrived and were there in under ten minutes.

"Late night dinning"

10.0

Was in town with a group of 9 to meet with members of a local church. The hotel is comfortable and is a great value. Two things stand out. The first is the incredible service and the second is the restaurant outside. Our favorite memories were the late nights dinning under the outside pavilion.

"Good home base for Chichen Itza."

8.0

We stayed here so that we could take a cab in the morning to Chichen Itza and beat the tourists. It was extremely convenient for this. However the hotel staff got us our cab, which they were family with. The cab there cost double what it cost us to come back. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and it's like staying in a jungle. The hotel is located about 6 blocks from the main square. If I were to go again I would stay in a hotel on the square as there was really nothing around the hotel. There also was a mosquito issue in our room which was gross. All and all it was a good stay as a home base to head to Chichen Itza. Which was amazing and a must do.
