The Richmond Hotel

There was rubbish in the bin when we went in ti the room. The sheets had some sort of mould or dirty marks on them. Very old and shabby. Car parking very very limited. Not a very homely feel, stared at by all guests and staff on arrival - clickey environment

Good value for money, sea view was great, basic but comfortable

Not enough parking space & no sympathy when you get a parking ticket

Good location and helpful staff,the free room upgrade was very welcome.

No room with a view inly to the car park, smallest tv in the world you need binoculars to see screen from your bed, chef was given the night off as nobody had apparently prebooked for dinner, we were not made aware of this when booking, breakfast toast was cold, hot porridge was not even warm and completely tasteless, poached eggs were undercooked, glad we only booked for one night!!

convenient location. close to city centre and walking distance from station and seafront

Nice hotel, mostly friendly staff but the hotel is a little dated and run-down. Perfectly okay for a overnight stay though...

Location good for town and facilities comfortable rooms

Very helpful and friendly staff, room was lovely, spacious and clean, breakfast was good, a very pleasant stay and may come back
