Nice hotel. But... I checked in on line, selected our room and it was confirmed just needed to wait for the digital key to become active. We checked in and were told they had no knowledge of it. What a waste of time.

"Not the best..."

Before we arrived I called and tried to get the room changed. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member. I was always under the belief that diamond members could get upgraded rooms if they were available on day of check-in. The manager at this place did not want to provide me with an upgrade. He said I had to go to the app. Ultimately I ended up calling the diamond desk and they got me into the room that I asked for. When we got to the room it was kind of rough looking. Furniture was all kind of beat up and scratched. It was far from new but it wasn't horrible either. The Wednesday happy hour was okay, but it's not like it used to be at Homewood. Overall that's why I rated this place a three. Just not what I would call a premium selection. The hotel is located right next door to a mega church. On this particular evening, someone was having a party. There was a band that rocked the entire building until about 8:00 or 9:00. I'm not exactly what time they actually ended. It was not exactly comforting.
