TownePlace Suites Joliet South

This is a mixed review – – some good – – some bad. The rooms are, although small, nicely accommodated. The TV is tiny – – but so is the room. There was no ice bucket to be found. Upon check-in, as a Marriott Bonvoy member, there was not a “token“ greeting gift? The breakfast was short and sweet – – not much selection. So, not sure why I would choose this hotel over any others in the area.

The room is so well set up, and so quiet. Staff is kind and helpful. I felt safe traveling alone, and taking my small dog out. My new fave hotel chain to stay in, having stayed 2x in 3 weeks. I will go back.

Every time I visit the area, I try to stay at this hotel. My stay was great as always

The first room was very mildewy and damp. The ventilation wasn’t good, my eyes were starting to burn as we got our stuff into the room, my husband who is allergic to mold at at red complaining he was having trouble breathing. I went downstairs and asked to switch room, they were very accommodating with switching rooms, we had to downgrade to a smaller room with our two kids which was better than the moldy room. The breakfast was terrible, not many options, no waffles during the week. The oatmeal was NOT edible, very watery most of the days it was like gray water with with occasional clumps of “oats”,sausage patties looked freezer burnt and then reheated. A positive,they had a few options for GF which was nice. We ended up eating at the McDonald’s next door and then the Cracker Barrel.

Beautiful, spacious, very clean room! The beds were very comfortable!

Breakfast was alright...need more variety staying ( 7 ) days wasn't impressed

Head maintenance ( didnt even check our TV ) Complained to desk ( 3 ) TIMES , ( and she was a gem also} ( Ingrid )...so she sent Anthony which far EXCEEDED THE FIRST GUY !!! HE SHOULD DEFINITELY BE REWARDED....She also comp our room which we booked through booking.com and we never received fee back Anything you can do to help WE WOULD APPRECIATE....WE STAY WITH YOU EVERY YR,,THANK YOU
