No breakfast Early in season Perfect location!

Although our stay at the mat, Resort was short every minute was just perfect! The room was extremely clean, beautifully decorated and so comfy. The views of the water right out of our room were majestic. We will definitely be a return customer in the future. We especially love supporting family owned businesses thank you Gwendolyn & Richard 🫶

We just love the Masthead! You can not beat the location and views. We’ve stayed in multiple different units during the summer and off season. It’s a magical place with authentic old cape cod feel and modern conveniences. 39B was super cozy for a March visit. The cottages and rooms are well kept and clean. Thank you to the staff!

Masthead Resort is situated in the residential West End, a short walk from the causeway and still less than a mile from several dining options, even in the off-season. Room 31E is charming — a classic cottage vibe, close to the water, spacious, and nicely updated with comfortable bedding. It was equipped with microwave, small fridge and coffee pot. There was no housekeeping during my stay, and limited staffing in the main office, but I was seeking a quiet getaway and it definitely delivered — sitting on the couch or in bed with a book looking out on the water through the large windows. It was pretty chilly at night and the cottages are not constructed for cold weather stays, but an extra blanket was provided in the room, and it was quite cozy. Parking during high season would be a challenge. Free parking during these quiet winter/early spring months was free on the street and I was able to park across from the entrance gate to the cottage.

Stunning location, outside of the craziness of the center of town. Still walkable to everything and very close to the Red Inn. Room was huge and very clean. Grounds were so beautiful. Will remember to bring a hair dryer next time!
