The Masthead Resort

My partner and I stayed here for four nights during the month of July. We had wonderful time staying at the Masthead. I thought the room was immaculately clean and comfortable (we had an efficiency unit), and was well equipped, although we didn’t actually wind up cooking anything (if wanted to it would’ve been pretty easy to do so). Also, the bathroom was modernized, there was plenty of hot water, and the pressure was good. Furthermore, I thought the staff at the Masthead was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. Maid service is offered if you wanted it, but we just exchanged towels every day and they were happy to do so. The other thing makes the Masthead unique is its private beach area. So, while my partner, unfortunately, had to work in the room for a couple hours every morning I was able to take advantage of the sun area down near the beach. The sun chairs were modern and new and super comfortable. I absolutely recommend the Masthead for anyone seeking a pleasant, informal stay at a great location in Provincetown.

Room was on the water. Great swimming and great vibe.

Place was nice well maintained throughout.

Beds where situated next to the garbage bins outside could hear trash being dumped and picked up.

There is a crazy person staying above me. I keep leaving to get away from them and I’ve attempted to say something to them as they were hanging clothes on the railing all day long. They ignored me. It is crazy and I have had no sleep.

Proximity to attractions.

Parking ... is egregious

The unit was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered a level of comfort that made it feel like a true home away from home. Waking up to the stunning waterfront scenery was nothing short of magical and it truly elevated the entire stay for my family.

Property is really nice, right on the beach. But rooms need a major update. And crew could really be friendlier and welcoming.
