We loved our stay there!

Loved the stay and will come back again. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful!

Small/cozy room with a comfortable double bed and also a twin bed, private bathroom, coffee maker, small fridge... lovely water view!

The check-in and check-out times are not very accommodating to the guests. Check-in at 4pm and check-out at 10am are both pushing an hour outside of the industry standard, and that reduces the value of the stay. I asked at check-in for an extra hour to check out late, the front desk staff said that yes 11 was fine. The morning of checkout at 9am I received an automated text saying you have to checkout at 10, I wrote back explaining I had already been granted a late checkout the day before, and received another automated text saying no late checkouts would be accommodated. Not very guest-friendly or guest-focused if you ask me. Automated texts without any consideration of the situation details, and 6 hours of vacancy for housekeeping clearly indicates a preference to saving on staff, rather than making guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Room was clean and beds were way sleepable, short walk to town, ocean view wonderful and easy access with the front deck, seconds from the ocean

Clean and welcoming

Delightful experience, very clean, in the quiet area on the west end so a bit away from 'downtown' but plenty close to walk. Resort has a portion of the beach to itself, you feel at home there, thoughtful cottage like amenities (needs, home tools, broom). I enjoyed not being imposed on as I don't like services and didn't need them. It showed that there was care and real thoughtfulness, had all the basics in decent supply, and encourages green living but doesn't force it.

Fantastic location. Excellent view from the room. Charming grounds. Very courteous staff. Comfortable beds, spacious room. I was out of cell range & was unaware the office closes at 6, the very kind desk clerk stayed until 6:45 to show us into our room.

The bathroom needs updating.

It was great! From check-in to parking to the room to the deck and beach access.

Loved staying at the Masthead! Staff was courteous and accommodating, the cottage was so cute and nautical themed. I only wish I could've stayed longer. If you're looking for oceanfront AND quiet in P town, this is the place to go.

The location is just perfect: within walking distance to the town center, but located on the beach and in a quiet neighborhood, close to restaurants and other beaches.The staff was kind and helpful, ongoing contact by sms or telephone, receptive to our needs. Some items may be upgraded, but overall everything worked well.
