The Masthead Resort

Huge room, great location, little weathered and old but perfectly fine for a couple nights.

It was our 54th wedding anniversary. 1971 we honeymooned in PTown. I was so fortunate and delighted that we choose the Masthead. It was perfect. Beautiful location, clean, comfortable. We had a small unit, but it was perfect. I want to go there again!

All rooms have water views or direct waterfront. Quiet part of town, but close to everything and walkable.

I was so happy to be back at my favorite Provincetown hotel for my 19th year! The Masthead is located right on the bay, with a beautiful view from the long and pictureque deck. The area is generally quite quiet and away from the hubbub of the center of town, but is not far from where the buzz starts. It's a short bike ride,drive or not-too-long walk to the beach at Herring Cove; and a short walk to the beautiful Breakwater at the foot of Commercial Street. The Masthead staff are friendly and helpful; the rooms are comfortable and have been updated over the years, and the grounds are gorgeous, lined with beautiful flowers and greenery.

Great waterfront location. Bed was too small. Sofa bed was uncomfortable.

It was good. Bathroom was very small and uncomfortable to use.

A bit pricey but it was a last minute booking. The area- clean, beautiful (as alway) and the everyone really nice. I will be staying again soon.

a great set up with multiple small cottages around a lawn and facing the sea. a huge room with living, full kitchen and bedroom. ample and felt more like a home than a hotel room but all services available. super easy to town and in the other direction to the big beaches.

Definitely overpriced. Patio needs some care and updates. Staff is not friendly.
