"The details matter"

We were given keys to a room when we arrived (around 6:15pm) and opened the door to find it unserviced and not ready. When reassigned a room, the toilet would run on evry 10 minutes or so. On the plus side, the restaurant was very good.

"Will stay here again!"

This will be my go to Marriott property in Richmond. Love the modern style, the room was clean, very quiet, and I had a place for work at a desk or reading on the chase lounge. I liked the nice comforter on the bed and found the bed comfortable. I had room service 2 mornings for breakfast and liked what I ordered - service was also prompt. I had dinner 2 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed the food and cocktails. Rarely is a hotel restaurant so good, but Small Batch Local Kitchen was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The workout room was nice, too. I did not try the pool. I like that there are some outdoor seats if you wanted to get some vitamin D while on the lobby level.

"Great hotel but the long term guest is annoying"

The bed and cleanliness of the room

I didn’t like the tv not working and having to call maintenance or I didn’t like that the staff knew of a long time customer that was staying next door to us and there was no warning that she has received multiple complaints. She knocked on our door claiming we were being loud when we were simply talking and she also called the front desk. This made us feel very uncomfortable and we ended up leaving at 1am shortly after the show we were there to see.
