Nice and clean, staff very helpful indeed would stay again

Staff was really helpful and welcoming and accommodating to all of our requests. If I visit Brussels again I would book the same hotel. Hilda and the team was excellent!

Property staff were super helpfull and friendly helping track down my lost suit case, and knew all the good spots to go, if i ever come back to brussells it will be this hotel, breakfast was great too

Had a good stay at this hotel. Friendly staff who welcomed me and recognised my Platinum Elite status with a free drink. Later that evening, I saw an email from early morning caught in my spam folder, that my room would be upgraded. My room however, was the the room I booked so not sure what happened here. Also, there was an Elite Floor, but my room was on the third. Did I miss an upgrade here? The bed in the room was good, the sound proofing was very bad. Noises from the corridor could be clearly heard. At 5:31 a iPhone rang in another room and that woke me up. Felt like if it was my phone. Just to give you an idea of the lack of sound proofing I’m talking about. Breakfast was basic, but good. Plenty of items to choose from. Hotel is conveniently located around the corner from the Schuman.

Stayed with my 7 year old son for a long weekend, and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the transport hubs at Schuman and the area felt very safe even in the evening. Walking distance to a couple of large parks and several cafes, restaurants, and small supermarket shops. The hotel also has a small tuck shop and I was delighted to find they sold adapter plugs as I forgot mine. Rooms are comfortable and we both slept very well. Nice toiletries. Breakfast was great. A good range of food and my son was delighted by the waffles. Staff were excellent, really helpful and welcoming. I can’t fault the HI at all and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Brussels.

We would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was phenomenal - one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had! The room was cool and the bed was comfortable. The location was SO central.

In general, this hotel condition good and is very close the underground rail and convenience to travel other area in Brussels but no view from the hotel room. However, the parking bay only 7 available and unable provide me in the first day. Suggest arrive in hotel before 10:00 see if there is any visitor check-out or later than 20:00 as free parking outside of hotel.

Great location. Really close to a good bakery (Paul) where you get the best croissants! Close to restaurants, supermarket, nice park and the metro! The room was nice, comfy and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful

We all know things have been hard for the hospitality sector recently but based on this stay IHG is in pretty poor shape. The location is good close to the European Parliament building and close to the metro so easy to get anywhere. The reception staff were also polite, efficient and friendly - so far so good. I was surprised to hear the benefits of IHG loyalty weren't offered at reception. Disappointing but not the end of the world, though little point in joining if that's the case. First and most significant problem was the very small lift which doesn't go to the sixth floor (non functioning button for some time according to reception). That's problematic if like us you're on the sixth floor. - So go for the healthy option then and take the stairs ... except the e-key doesn't work on the stairwell. In fact, it doesn't reliably work on much and we needed to have ours recut every day of our stay. Make it to the room and it's compact, smelled strongly of cigarettes and was very much in need of some modernisation. The bed (unusually for Holiday Inn) was uncomfortable managing to combine unforgiving pillows and matress with a kiln of a duvet. As a consequence neither of us had a restful night during the stay. Key cutting, non functioning lift and pillows were raised with reception at different times, but other than acknowledging how frustrating it must be nothing resulted from the news. No offer of an alternative room or floor and generally you got the idea the whole process was pointless. Breakfast and lunch were good and the service was both pleasant and unobtrusive. However, this didn't make up for what has been a below average stay at an IHG property.
