Villa Bellagio Amboise

Pour un voyage d'affaire sans location de voiture, moment très stressant en sortie de gare quand malgré une anticipation une heure avant l'arrivée à AMBOISE aucun taxi ne décroche. donc pb majeur accessibilité pour les voyageurs sans voiture.

Non respect des règles de stationnement sur le domaine. Manque de vaisselle. Pas de climatisation. Pas d’équipement extérieur. Impossible de se mettre à l’ombre.

Very little to say about this place that would encourage someone to stay here. We were cycling along the Loire and landed on this place - foolishly, I did not check the location, and not really (not very welcoming for our bikes) It’s quite far from the center - a 45 minute walk, with no taxis available. So had to get back on the bikes to go to dinner, not a huge problem, but did quite fancy a break. The accommodation was basic and cramped for 4, additionally, it was incredibly hot and no option to open a window. The place is barren, with trees that’ll be great in 10-20 years. The pool was nice to have. Breakfast was a bunch of things from the supermarket. Avoid this place if you have another option.

Déçu, vendu sur hôtels.com, alors qu il s agit de location de vacances : pas de prestation type savon shampoing, eau fraîche... Loin du centre en vélo.

Établissement tres moyens pour le tarif, grand absents pendant notre sejour, la clim et une terrasse extérieur. Petite déjeuner à aller chercher tres moyens. Tres bien situé pour les visites de lieux touristiques. Pour un 3 étoiles juste le tarif est à la hauteur !

Notre séjour a été agréable nous avions demandé un lit double nous avons eu des lits jumelés à l entrée de l appartement le panneau électrique était dans un état déplorable le gazon entre les différents logements est mal entretenu

Amazing place. Spread over a very large area with small individual appartments, very clean and comfortable and private. Parking at the appartments could be enlarged or redesigned to have cars at the appartments instead of at the end of the road which meant you go wet if it was raining. Also a bit of a walk to the main hotel for meals. Excellent base for exploring the Loire area.

On a train holiday around France we were recommended this place...big mistake. It’s a 13.50 Euro+ taxi back into town to see the sights. There is no bus service or alternative to get in and out. We were booked in for three nights. Apart from a grand entrance way it’s run down and dirty. Units are up to 300m from bar/dining area and while clean inside on the outside looked dirty, lacking maintenance and run down. Weeds everywhere, in the gardens, under the stairs, paths etc..the metre high scotch thistles were in fact the largest plants in the garden! I have since read another review describing it looking like abandoned soviet prison camp..very accurate! Having arrived late we were told we had to book for dinner. We arrived 10 minutes early for dinner and despite the bar/ dining area being totally empty we’re told we could not sit down untill our booking time of 7pm. When I asked if we could get a drink while we waited...answer not till 7pm. Bar carpet was dark colour but appeared very dirty and certainly not vacuumed since god knows when. The meal was appalling the fries with the meal wereblackened greasy and were limp as noodles. Breakfast in the morning was horrifying. The fruit salad looked like it was made a week ago, the fruit going black! BUT it was the light coloured carpet that end of the room that truly shocked! I have never seen anything like it(see photos) we checked out immediately (no refund) but happy to do our money to save our health. You wont believe the pics
