Homewood Suites Fort Wayne

Good, clean, nice and comfortable. Very nice breakfast.

We arrived to find the hotel overbooked and, despite the fact we had paid, they had no room available. We ended up next door, which they arranged, and it all worked out fine. I suggest checking in closer to the start of check-in time to ensure room availability. It was inconvenient to change our plans however the manager on duty went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable in our new arrangements and for that I would give their staff five stars.

My wife and I are Fort Wayne natives and moved away 3-1/2 years ago but come back quite often to visit our kids and grandkids. This was our third stay here since September 30, 2023 and pretty much identical experience each time…none of which have been good. Each of the three stays, at least one of the shower dispensers (body wash, shampoo, conditioner) were completely empty. This time two were COMPLETELY empty (shampoo and conditioner). When I went down to the front desk to get shampoo and conditioner refills, I waited around five minutes for a front desk clerk and when she came around the corner it was quite apparent she did not want to be there. She said nothing to greet me and had a scowled expression on here face. She literally just stared at me and said nothing. Finally I told her that I needed shampoo and conditioner. She went and got some, handed them to me, and never said a word to me. Each of the three stays the bathroom sink drained very slowly and this stay did not drain at all. Shower had lots of mold/mildew. Doritos crumbs on the bathroom floor (not from us). After the first stay in September, I emailed the GM and he was very apologetic and credited out points for the stay. Because of his gesture to try and make amends for our poor stay, we stayed again for seven nights in mid-November. The room we had that stay was not any better than the first stay. Sadly, the third time was not a charm (this stay).

this is the second Hilton I stayed at in three days that didn't have any bedding for the pullout sofa. I realize is easy to just call. I removed the stained cushions and there were crumbs on top of the pullout. I proceeded to pull out the sofa and there was a sock at the top of the bed. I put the sofa bed back in and slept on top of the cushions. There was a hot chocolate station in the lobby, but the hot waster was empty, and the marsh mellows were empty. Now, I don't need any marsh mellows, my point is if the stations isn't stocked properly, they should take it down for the evening. We were told breakfast was at 6am, which suited are purpose, since we had to be on the road early, but when we got down to the lobby, we were told there was a mistake and breakfast will not be at 7am. Unfortunately, since it was christmas day, nothin else was open expect the gas station.

Suck very bad pet deposit was not covered in sign up .

Had a lot of trouble signing in, staff did not accept expedia booking of room with 4 adults and 2 children at all. Staff was very aggressive and rude when trying to resolve the issue, making demeaning and racist comments several times about my accented english. He repeatedly threatened to cancel our booking while insisting we had to book another room before ultimately giving in. Terrible customer service

The most wonderful HELPMATE EVER and i returned late to Fort Wayne and didn’t want to disturb our eldest daughter who is staying with for awhile so we went to the local Hilton property and “as usual” IT WAS AWESOME! really nice kitchen and separate living area; the room was super clean;)! one comment about enclosure with a door on the NW side (back) it needs replaced it’s about to fall off the enclosure? that is only an observation. thanks for letting us stay… IT WAS LOVELY!!!

I've stayed at a lot of hotels in the Fort Wayne area and this easily was the best. Very, very clean and spacious. You get what you pay for. And it costs more to stay at a nicer place. But you get peace of mind and a beautiful room.
