Waters View Inn

This is a charming B&B that is getting some much needed updates. I think after all the rooms are updated (our room had not yet been updated) this will be an excellent B&B! It served our needs for a 2 night and 3 day stay. We loved the area too.

Short but comfortable stay. Owners nice and help Close to beach and downtown area. Charming older property but i prefer them. Pretty room and kitchen had several items available to guest ...coffee tea, snacks

Not at all what we expected. All kinds of inconveniences like no plugs or you can use them crawling under things to reach to any kind of plug all the sinks the faucets turn so close to the sink you couldn’t get your hands under it. One of the sinks still had spit on it from the last person to brush their teeth before us. Could not recommend this for the price at all

Everyone was so kind! Me and my boyfriend are 18 and we were never treated as if we were so young. Treated us like everyone else. Made us feel very welcome. Was an amazing experience and an amazing place to have our first vacation together.

Very friendly and great location.

The staff was wonderful -- pleasant, friendly and helpful. The chef was also very friendly and quite talented; the food was excellent. There were many "extras" for the guests left in the common areas, and always more than enough for everyone. The Inn is dated, and I would question some of the choices made by whoever designed the renovations, but we were pleased with our stay overall.

This place is in desperate need of an update. We stayed in a suite advertised as family friendly but there were lots of hazards that were dangerous to children. In the bathroom, they had this tub that just dropped from the floor that was 4 feet deep. They also had a second shower in the bathroom that was out of use, so it was just blocked off by a tall folding mirror. In the kitchen, they had a power outlet extending over the sink. It was at risk of getting soaked every time you used it. On the porch, there were some broken sections with nails sticking out. We found out by one of our children stepping on it. I know it’s an old building, but you can keep the character and get the updates that should be made just so it’s to code. There is no way this room would have passed. The bed and breakfast kitchen backs up to our room and I believe there is no oven vent. Our room smelled of old sausage grease the whole time. It’s so bad, it was coating the dishes we used. Every drink in thier glasses tasted like the old sausage grease. The food they served had this wierd taste as well. They serve a breakfast, and were very considerate of our requests. Unfortunately it was ruined by this grease taste. The dishes they served with were also not clean. I had to rewash everything. I will say, the staff and owner were very kind and accommodating. The condition of thier place was definitely keeping this it from being something special.

Walkable to North Beach. Very nice breakfasts and setting. Let us park in their lot throughout the day after we had checked out. Thank you! Small rooms, a bit dingy. Old spotted carpet. TV in room didn’t work.

Charming and loaded with history, this is a unique experience, very conveniently located near beach, river activities, dining options, and of course shopping! Staff is friendly, helpful and so welcoming. The breakfasts are top notch, snacks are delicious, will be back again!

You can’t beat the location! It’s walking distance to the beach, and to a bunch of restaurants and shops. It is an older house built in the late 1800s so don’t expect luxury. It used to be a boarding school, so we thought that was very interesting. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and there’s a coffee shop/bakery across the street. I don’t recommend going in early June because it’s still cold, and there wasn’t much going on. Overall it was a nice stay, and we recommend staying there as long as you are not looking for luxury.
