The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

Extremely pleasant inn with a warm and rustic feeling—and an excellent breakfast! Disappointed that I never had a chance to try the dinner menu.

We were surprised when we went to go to dinner that we were told that all tables were booked by a large wedding party and we were told to go elsewhere. This was early in the evening at 6 pm. When the front desk checked with the restaurant they recommended, it was closed. Then they finally fit us in after complaining at 7:30. We definitely were not there priority even though we were staying there. Very disappointed. Breakfast was a breakfast bar that was marginal. We booked our room in Feb/March for arrival in October. No one told us we needed dinner reservations either.

The Quechee Inn is a beautiful property. The breakfast was very nice. We also chose to dine there one night and it was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Would stay there again if coming to the area.

I have been staying here for about 33 years. I love the property, the restaurant, Trahans bar and the large rooms. Magical area. Loved the live music on Wednesday

Lovely old inn. Staff was great, location was perfect for a beautiful fall weekend in Vermont, and the room was very comfortable.

We wanted a "home base" just to explore the Quechee area.....visit some of the sights, see some foliage, relax and enjoy the fall, and have some quiet time together. The inn was just right. A nice small bar, convenient restaraunt, good location, some walking paths, well cared for historical lodging and just a fun place to stay. The restaraunt was good but it was a little understaffed so the servers were stressed, but they were positive and friendly despite the fact that they were running. The menu was extensive. The rooms were good sized, older, but clean and neat. Worth a visit and a stay but probably not a place that you'd want to stay for a week. Perfect for a night or two!!

I loved our stay at The Quechee Inn B&B. The location is perfect, the grounds are very beautiful, and the service was warm and welcoming. This old Inn was very clean and tidy. We ate dinner in the dining room and we all enjoyed our meals immensely. The common areas near the fireplace and bar are so cozy. I would love to come back in the winter. I would say that breakfast was a little weak and underwhelming but I didn’t really expect much. I took one star away due to some needed refreshing of some areas in the inn. The paint was a little worn out as well as carpets and bedding in the two guest rooms I saw. Overall it was a great location and very enjoyable. Be aware that there are lots of mosquitoes(early Autumn). We were unable to enjoy the quaint balcony due to this fact. Anyway, I would recommend this Inn to all my friends.

My wife and I were on a 45 anniversary trip through New England. We stayed two nights at the Inn and loved in. Very pretty charming Inn located close to Woodstock, Vt. The people were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and good. Would absolutely stay there again. Wife said it felt like being in a Hallmark movie
