Andaman Cannacia Resort & Spa

This was a beautiful hotel with an amazing view of the beach below. My partner had broken her knee a few months before we arrived so we were anxious about all the stairs and being on a steep hill. When we arrived the reception team soon noticed my partner's struggles with her stick and upgraded us to a sea view room with fewer stairs to get to, which was a fantastic attention to detail. The room was spacious, the shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were amazing throughout our stay, from the cleaners to management. A huge shout out to Mimi who was based at the spa desk in the main lobby. She did everything in her power to look after us during our stay. The pool was great, deckchairs always available. The reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is the breakfast. Hot food in the containers was often cold. The first time we used the egg station a long hair was found in my partner's omlete so that put us off. There wasn't much selection so we often just had fruit and juices in the morning which became boring after a couple of days. But that was our only issue at this hotel. As others say, it is located on a very steep hill and there is no lift in the hotel, so if you have mobility issues it may be beneficial to use another hotel on flatter ground. A recommendation I would make to the hotel management is to make the top pool adult only. It is a kid friendly hotel with a large pool and a smaller pool, but having an area where adults travel without children can relax would be a great addition. Overall it was a great experience.

The room is cozy and well-maintained. It has everything you need: air conditioning, a TV, a refrigerator, and a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Cleaning was done daily, and towels were changed promptly. I was especially pleased with the breakfast—a buffet with a wide selection of pastries, fruit, and drinks. Everything was fresh and delicious. The most important thing is that the sea is nearby! I definitely recommend this hotel - excellent value for money!

Excellent hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. The restaurants food is great. Location is beautiful but it is on a steep hill if you struggle with that.

Best place to stay near Kata/Karon! Walking distance to Kata road, daily shuttles to the beach, but honestly we would strongly recommend spending your days at the resort itself!! Beautiful pools, great staff, delicious food... don't need anything else!

I’ve just checked out of this little gem. Room - beautiful. View - exquisite. Grounds - breathtaking. View - fantastic. Staff - genuine. What a perfect introduction to Thailand for me. Thank you to everyone there for making my stay so enjoyable. Food also very good - Micky super helpful.

Pain to Peace. Very grateful. On arrival I was given a room right next to the busy hotel entrance on the main road, Extremely noisy day & night. No rest at all. A few days later, thanks to staff member Jm. I was given a quieter location for the remainder of my stay. Jm, I Really appreciate your kindness & attentiveness for my health and making the last days At Andaman Cannacia peaceful & restful. The hotel is well staffed, constantly being cleaned, the rooms are generous & well equipped. Plenty to do if you wish, table tennis, water volleyball, jacuzzi, pools, massage, gym, spa bar, special evening events, music and bar. Day time has a chilled atmosphere- it’s lovely . The night time lights adds an another layer to a beautiful ambiance. No lift- lots of stairs & steps. The overall atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, views are absolutely amazing, staff are very kind & helpful & very cheerful. All the staff here have provided an outstanding service- many many thanks to you all.P

This is a fantastic hotel with very friendly staff, we were only here for a week but thanks to JM we were given an upgraded room for the last couple of nights that had an amazing sea view and plunge pool. It is a steep hill down to the beach but there is a free shuttle bus, you are able to take a foot path at the back through the garden to avoid walking along the road, but the steps are quite steep. The restaurant staff were really helpful, slight changes to a dish were no problem, and they always confirmed back the order to make sure everything was fully understood, and I'd recommend an omelette for breakfast. No complaints from us, I just hope our second hotel is as good.

Absolutely stunning hotel with top class workers that go above and beyond to make your stay Absolutely perfect, we stayed for 11 nights and it was out of this world and we will 100% be returning next year and we cant wait i want to give a special shout out to JM the gsa supervisor what a legend of a man he is he cant do enough to help you and makes you feel like family me and the misses were near tears saying goodbye to him I just hope the hotel know what a diamond they have in him. All I can say about this hotel is wow thank you so much for our dream holiday and we cant wait to see you again 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the hotel. Lovely quiet location away from busy Kata. Stunning views of the sea & beach. Relaxing atmosphere, Spacious bedroom, tastefully decorated. Great bathrooms/large shower plenty of hot water, excellent selection of complimentary toiletries. Excellent WIFI & air conditioning. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Complimentary tea & coffee, two bottles of water provided in the room daily also you can refill your bottles with drinking water in the dining area. Free shuttle bus to the Kata beach & town runs regularly during day till late evening. Micky & all the staff team were excellent, very friendly, professional & helpful. Hotel restaurant is excellent for lunch & dinner for is beautifully cooked & full of flavour. Our only recommendations is the questionnaire/review sheet is left in your room on your last night before leaving to fill out, rather than being sprung on you before checking out. Also a few more sunbeds & parasols are needed around the hotel grounds. We feel the hotel staff need to monitor people leaving towels on beds all day & not used for high percentage of the day as this is very unfair on other guests wanting to enjoy the hotel facilities.

Title: Beautiful stay and amazing rooms, but be mindful of the billing! We recently stayed at the Andaman Cannacia and had a great experience with the facilities. The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located—accessible to the busy areas but very quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was lovely, the food was good, and the rooms were amazing. We were even upgraded for the first three nights of our week-long stay! However, I have one piece of advice: pay for what you eat and drink as you go. Don't put it on your room tab. We encountered "complications" at the end of our trip when we were questioned about a restaurant bill. Even though we had a receipt for a card payment, the hotel insisted there was an outstanding charge. We decided to just pay it, thinking it could have been for extra drinks and not wanting to be a pain, but the atmosphere changed instantly. The staff, who had been so chatty before, and the manager (Micky) completely ignored us the day before we left at breakfast. It was disappointing to be treated that way just for questioning a charge. To keep your stay stress-free, just pay as you go!
