Hotel Hacienda Don Juan

Gorgeous old hacienda in San Cristóbal de las Casas. A must see!

Nice environment, old hacienda, collectionist and antique decoration. A lot of plants around.

What a lovely place, it was a pleasure spend 10 nights with Hotel Hacienda Don Juan When I come back to San Cristóbal that's the place I'm going back

Like paradise! I especially liked dinning in the kitchen in the evening with the adobe fire place warming us up in the evening. The live peacock was a plus.

MERE WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE THIS ENCHANTING PLACE !!!!!! SET IN A QUIET RESIDENTIAL AREA ITS MAXING! THE HOTEL IS A REAL LIFE IN-TOWN HACIENDA. IT IS FULL OF OLD ANTIQUES AND AMAING MEMORALBILIA! The beds were SUPER COMFY, internet worked flawlessly. When in San Cristobal its "THE" PLACE to stay. Safe Secure Parking! Great Restaurant! WOW WE WILL BE BACK!

Long distance from center of city although bus and taxi's pass the main entrance all the time. Needs some TLC.

Really funny hacienda with truly unique decor. Located a bit far from the city centre, but offering great service and a comfortable place to stay for the night. Room was a bit cold, but the restaurant fireplace helped to keep us warm.

I loved the Hacienda, it has great antiques and you feel like you are in old Mexico and the service was great.

We had a big room with two double beds. The furnace didn't work but it wasn't necessary anywaysince it was not cold. We could use the table and chairs in the terrace in front of the room. The grounds are beautifully kept, the employees are very helpful. The hotel is a little far from the center of town (10 min taxi ride) but it's worth it to stay in this great place. The kids could play all over. The peacock is beautiful.

Lovely rustic hotel with wonderful hospitality only for the seasoned traveler that would prefer comfortable quaint surroundings not a 5 star cookie cutter hotel and I will be back.
