Vista Bahia Vacation Rental

The hotel is run down. Pool chairs broken. Dirty rooms. Very dirty and old bath tub. Lights not working. Patio door has no lock so unsecure premises. Unpleasant service. Lacked a toaster for the kitchen. No english TV channels.

This property was a bio hazard with bloody stained mattresses and public hair caked around the the toilet

I generally don’t write reviews but felt I should here. Toilet had major leak ((water running out of bathroom even). Had to argue to get a different room. Dirty bedding. No comforter. Promised king bed was given a double. No toiletries as promised. Kitchen is not very workable. Broken thumb latch on entry door. Balcony door was locked shut so we couldn’t use. Completely neglected place.

La vista es muy bonita, pero las instalaciones muy malas, no hay restaurante, ni mesas para el area de piscina, las sillas de playa totalmente descuidadas y rotas, la piscina muy bien, pésima señalización de senderos y habitaciones, las instalaciones de habitaciones rotas, sin utensilios para comer y cocinar. El lugar puede ser mucho mejor pero tienen pésimo mantenimiento, muy caro para cómo se encuentra

The best ting about Vista Bahia was the service. The staff were friendly and accommodating -- even allowing us to check in much earlier than advertised. The hotel was lower priced so I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but nothing like what was pictured. The room was spacious and came with a kitchenette, but the sink only had working water on the hot faucet, no cold, no filtered. The tub faucet was leaky and both tub and toilet were either stained or dirty (hard to tell.) Towels were given at check in, but none are provided in the rooms (including wash cloths.) There are no other amenities, like a hair dryer, soap & shampoo. Beds are firm, with fitted, top sheet and 2 pillows. Several items were in disrepair including: the sliding door to the balcony (had no working latch so it always remained unlocked), the cable and wi-fi worked intermittently, and several lights were out. There is a bar in the lobby, but no restaurant and no bottled water available. The pool was nice, but the overall impression of the hotel was one in disrepair. It was a place to sleep for the night, but nothing more. We were only there 1 night, but you can do better. Much better.

The property is at walking distance of the beach, quiet and the sea is visible from the room, however it feels abandoned, one of the the beds didn't have any linens, it was literally just the mattress and the staff didn't provide any even after requesting at the front desk. All pillows had mold and rust came out of the tap when we first opened it. Also the fridge didn't work. Would not recommend.

The area is beautiful, the building is terrible, is falling apart. no shampoo, no soup, no towells. no HOT WATER.

No es un hotel, es un apartamento, muy bien ubicado, con vista increíbles del golfo de Papagayo, lamentablemente muy incomodo para parquear el carro, no opciones para comer cerca, la salida a la playa es cerca, pero le falta mantenimiento general.
