We did have hot water. Shower water pressure was very poor, but it did work.

Beautiful villa but a bit run down, with poor lighting and no hot water. All screen walls with many holes so the villa comes alive with insects at night. Luckily nobody was bitten but we had ants, cockroaches, spiders, scorpions, tarantulas (outside) and mouse poop.

Everything was wonderful! We had a great time. The property is very nice

We used rbc rewards to book our room. It was alot of points to spend on such a poor experience. When we checked in the person behind the counter was trying to charge us for our room. It took a few minutes, but we finally got it across that we already paid with points. Our first room wasn't properly cleaned and the ac until was broken. We asked for a new room. They moved us to our second room which was clean and the ac worked. The next morning, we went to get breakfast as it said is included with the room and we were told that we needed to buy breakfast! We explained it is supposed to be included with the room and then we were given breakfast for free. It is important to know the hotel staff do not speak any english so it is very hard to communicate. We can't recommend this hotel and will not be back.

Do not know how others can rate this well.... just be fakes, one of the worst I've been to.

Stayed 3 nights. Spacious room (18) with large square footage and separate balcony overlooking bay. Paid off-season rate so not too upset in value. Plus's-Large room, kitchen with large fridge/freezer, view of bay and Playa Panama just steps away, secluded Playita. Reasonably priced in off-season. Staff friendly. Neg's-Only microwave in kitchen, (we don't do microwave) so cooking own meals difficult. Perhaps an induction hotplate would be a nice touch. Bathroom tub/shower not really clean. High mineral content in water we understand, but this can be cleaned. Nightly red ants invading the bathroom. Outside roadway needing upgrade. With a little investment back into the facility, I think the place has potential to becoming once again a great little accommodation.

We really enjoyed the private beach, huge space of the room, beautiful grounds and the peace and relaxation that this place offers. There is incredible value for the price.

It was close to the beach, however, the path to the beach was a little scary for young children. The room smelled like water hadn’t dried properly, we didn’t get a wifi signal even after telling the front desk 3 times. The room has really big, and the view from the room (not an ocean view) was nice since we were on a hill.

The staff was nice and friendly. The rooms are prefect for a family or large group. The food was great. Would stay here again. Pura vida!

What a absolute dump. Showed up booked and paid extra for upgraded from when we got there they only had regular rooms. After arguing they said they will comp the difference. Fine. got into the room and the AC barley worked. Ok it was 97 outside. left and came back to room around 430pm. the room was still hot and after pulling back the sheets they were dirty and smelled like sweat. we vented out the sheets as the manager was not on duty. During our brisk walk we noticed they have about 100 rooms but only 2 or 3 others were occupied. talked to another vacationer who stated they have been here all day and no one else was here but them and us. at this point im thinking whats up???? Got back to the room and turned on the shower and bugs cam out of the drain. my wife almost died as she came screaming. went to front desk they said they were all booked up and had no other rooms. I threatened to call my credit card company and have them issue a reversal on the account and they said ok we have another room. this was the upgraded room we paid for. Changed rooms at 6pm in the dark getting eaten by bugs to only find out that one of the maintenance guys who works there lives there in the room and the room had not been cleaned. Bottom line if you want to stay near the beach stay here but if you want to not get hep c or some other disease then go elsewhere. side note the manager of hotel who speaks no English who said he was going to refund the difference never did.
