Vista Bahia Vacation Rental

Beautiful property! Woke up to see a monkey in a tree from our patio. The beach is a short walk downhill. Took a boat tour to snorkel. Staff very helpful! Would stay again!

Vista Bahia Beech resort was just what we were looking for in a relaxing place to spend our vacation. Panama Beach is in a quiet area. No big touristy commotion like is found in some of the larger resort areas yet for visitors looking for the shopping restaurants and attractions it is a short drive away. I was extremely happy to be able to see the Howler monkeys right out side my balcony! Also, many colorful birds which were fun to watch and photograph. The only thing negative I would say is that it needs sprucing up but they were already working on that so I see this as a temporary situation.. Added note: Our trip was delayed because of a terrible snowstorm so we had to arrive 2 days late. They did not charge us for the days we were not there which we found to be very generous since this is not a large international resort.. I would be glad to have a chance to return to the Vista Bahia Beach Resort.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed our stay. We spent quite a bit a time on the beach and hiking around the property. Playa Panama is very nice. The staff was very accommodating. The room was very spacious with a full size refrigerator and microwave. The bed could use a sifter mattress though. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

The resort was ok, nice atmosphere but luckily we went to chill & relax & not for the beach because was not a desirable beach & you have to walk through the woods to get down there. The other thing is the walk up the hill to the rooms, their cart couldn't carry my husband and I so we had to walk in the dark cause the majority of the lights were out. More bugs in the room than outside. Loved Hillary the bartender she was the best & she's only been there a month!

Not the most modern and luxury place, but definitely very nice and comfortable. For the price you pay you get a very nice place!

Is very nice, pretty cool area with a nice pool and rooms. But the staff at the restaurant is very slow and somethings forget what you order. But the food is very good.

Hotel was ok, not great, not horrible. Staff was quite bland and service wasn’t great. Room was OK but definitely needs some care. There was no maid service for the 3 nights we stayed. Pool area was quite loud with the hotel music competing with guest music. Lots of great birds around the resort, seen a couple of parrots. The grounds were pretty neat with some great walking paths to the beach areas.

There were no reviews on here so that was a signal flare to begin with. Getting here was easy using WAZE but I had a condo in the area for 5 years and NEVER knew this place was here! Very hidden which is a good and bad thing. The hotel is an older Costa Rica Hotel so that said, the price is WAY TOO HIGH! Roomer has it they are going to build a new hotel, but time will tell about that (they need to!). The wifi was spotty in the room, the A/C worked great (albeit the power went off for an hour at 1 am), but the water pressure in the shower was REALLY BAD! The coffee maker and the frig were a nice touch. Bed was average for a hotel bed. Waking up the the howler monkeys was very cool! Would I stay here again, yes but only if the room was $70 or less.

Just great! Beautiful views and they have like a small exclusive beach.

The room itself was decent but the pool was absolutely gross, I guess because it's low season but it was dirty...food was so gross and the wifi or tv did not work and this was something that was advertised so that was disappointing. Heading back to Liberia to catch a flight and thought we would rebook but we definitely won't be coming back. I have to say the driver that picked us up at the airport was fantastic and efficient but was the only positive thing I can say of this experience.
