Needs updating and thorough cleaning. You can tell that the villa had not been cleaned well, hairs and nastiness everywhere. Also the property does not include access to the amenities to the Hawks Cay pool or lagoon. Will not stay there again. Ended up getting another room at the Hotel. Stay away
Didnt realize that we didnt have any access to a pool there... we did go down to a local beach called Sombero beach, but would have been nice to just hang by the pool for a day. But other then that the place was nice everything worked and for our long weekend it fit most of the needs.

It didnt really feel like vacation. Part of the reason was because we did not have access to the resort amenities even though I was led to believe that we would. Also because the room was dirty and furniture and decorating were dated. For us personally, we go on vacation to spoil ourselves. I don't have any animosity toward Expedia or the owners of the prooerty, but it was not the experience we were looking for.
This resort was hit hard by a hurricane last year. They have done a beautiful job renovating it. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our weeklong stay. In addition to the pool and lagoon, there were plenty of events for adults including pub trivia. My only complaints would be very minor things about the villa where we stayed, all of which were addressed quickly by the staff. Great stay! Would definitely recommend.

View was spectacular but kitchen wasn’t as furnished or as clean as I like. Lacking some basics for example wants you to wash dishes but no dish rags or towels.
Overall the place was good, some aspects were dated but the location was perfect for where we needed to be. However the cleanliness was not so good, the shower curtain had orange mildew along the bottom and the bathroom floor could definitely use a scrubbing. And I didn't like how the owner kept tools(spackle kit) and broken vacuum cleaners in the bedroom closet, so I had to hang up my clothes with these other items. They should be kept in a locked closet not out in open for guests to see. And there were no hooks to hang up any bath towels. The view was great being right on the water.
