*** No access to Hawks Cay Amenities*** Let me start by saying that I booked this because some of the pictures posted are of the decks of the condos at Hawks Cay Resort. My understanding was that these where the same condos but leased by a different company. Boy was I wrong!!! Let me start by saying that I never received arrival instructions indicating that I would go straight to the condo so I went to check in at the resort. To my surprise the resort indicated that they had nothing to do with these condos and I couldn’t use their amenities. The actual rental was called Duck Key Condominiums and outside the Hawks Kay Resort gate. The outside of the condos was dingy and motel-like. The inside was much better with an updated kitchen but super uncomfortable beds and sofa bed. They have wall ac units and their floors were so dirty that we had to constantly wash our feet. There were also no cleaning supplies in the closet. Overall I was extremely disappointed because it’s not what I had thought I booked and I was very uncomfortable.
It was and close to highway. The restaurant was very nice
Great condition. Views from the porches are very nice. Parking was easy. We had a clogged drain and they came and fixed it and were very nice. The cost was very reasonable. Great location.
Location OK . Property was dated and worn, needed a thorough cleaning. We were under the impression there was a pool on site, when we made our reservation and were not advised that we would have to drive 10 miles to use the Cabana Club until several days before our travel date.
The villa is extremely dusty / dirty to the point that my son is now sick and I’m surfing from really bad sinus issues. The window blinds are full of dust , the ac and refrigerator aren’t cooling properly. The pool light isn’t working , we found a few live roaches in the house, etc .... I just feel that for the price paid I expect for things to be working probably and the premise to properly clean.
The couch pull out bed was broken. The location was perfect and the condo was as expected based on previous reviews. We were just looking for a place to sleep after a full day of fishing/diving and this condo was exactly that..no frills. We did visit the off sight pool cabana place for a short time and it was fine.

Since We booked with Expedia we were not allowed to use any amenities. We were advised that we can use the pool that is 25 minutes car drive away from the hotel. Now on top of everything we also had RATS on the property.
The pictures on Expedia are not this property! The staff were easy to get in touch with and our room was clean. The location was good but we were surprised when we got there because this was not the property that’s on the pictures!
Enjoyed the property but was very disappointing to find could not use pool facilities on site but had to drive 12 one way to Cabana club which had limited hours.
