The Village Lodge

We visit mammoth often, and this was our the village Lodge. The location was spectacular. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. We had a few hiccups nothing out of the norm, but I must say management was really amazing and on top of it. Specifically Tom (Thomas Eby). He is the epitome of what customer service looks like and should look like. The Village Lodge is lucky to have someone like him in hospitality, our trip could have gone either direction and rectified and made sure we felt heard and was just above all. Can’t wait to come back!

I loved the location, convenience, facilities and staff.

The pullout mattress in the sofa was very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs against your back. For the price of lodging at the Village, I would expect more comfort.

Julia at the Lobby/front desk was amazing. She made our experience smooth and made us feel at home. A+ customer service!

This is the place to stay for comfort, convenience, and everything all around. From well managed luxurious rooms, accessibility of The Village gondola to Canyon Lodge, and shuttle availability to everywhere else. The staff was extremely helpful because we ended up getting a flat tire and running on a spare upon arrival. My son had snowboard lessons, so accessibility to the Mountain Center at the Village for lift tickets and rentals was also very convenient. We almost always stay here on our family trips to Mammoth Lakes, depending on availability. But this Christmas was made extra special by Daisy assisting us in getting a room with a preferred view for my son's Christmas town visiting Santa at the Village, Belen and Antonio assisting us with check in and making my son feel welcome with stickers and coloring books, and Shiomara going above and beyond with tire shop referrals for Mammoth and Bishop during the busy holiday season. Every interaction with staff was beyond exceptional. From a smooth and welcoming check in to the gorgeous view we were given, this stay was beyond memorable, and definitely a core memory for my family.

Location was perfectly located. It was perfect for ski in ski out! The gondola were right outside the doors once’s you exit the ski lockers. Perfectly located for dining and shopping!

I wish the unit had its own washer and dryer. We had to take all of our laundry downstairs to a shared community laundry room and pay to use the machines. We usually ski in Vail and Beaver Creek, where washers and dryers are always included in each rental unit, so this was a bit disappointing.

We have always stayed at the Village Lodge due to great rooms, a super quick walk ti the gondola, rentals right there, and super friendly and helpful staff. This visit, Antonio and Mandy took great care of us and offered us a complimentary room upgrade!! We couldn’t believe it! Now we reserve the 2 bedroom every time because we know how plush they are and how you can really stretch out and relax with that little bit more space. Thanks for introducing us to luxury, Antonio and Mandy! See you this coming February! We can’t wait to get back to our home away from home in the Village Lodge!

I forgot my hair straightener in the room. Alexandra and her team found it extremely fast and shipped it back to me the same day. The property was very clean, centrally located and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. Would highly recommend this property! Thank you!

This was our second time over here, and I’ve got to say that the receptionist and all the employees go above and beyond to make sure you stay is to your expectations. They do their best to make you feel at home. I have to say Maria Lopez at the reception done everything to accommodate us graciously.
