Schoone Oordt Country House

It's our fifth visit (we book each year on our road trip across SA) and each time have found the experience doesn't disappoint - in fact we feel more connected with each visit. The service, food, facilities are all excellent with the owners always displaying a passion for what they do.

Schoone Oordt is a beautiful setting. We were welcomed with scones, the room was very comfortable with everything you could need, has great style including fresh flowers and a truffle each on the bed, and a private veranda. The quality of dinner and breakfast were second to none. Great detail was given to presentation. We loved sitting at the bi-fold windows which were open looking over the garden. All of the staff were so pleasant and helpful. Our car was even washed. Our only regret is that we had not booked to stay longer. Thank you for one of the highlights of our holiday. Wonderful, try to stay for at least three nights as it is a great base to do a wide range of things - wine tasting , golfing, hiking, shopping, driving through mountains, etc

Alison was really helpful as i got my dates wrong and she helped me sort this out. responded quickly as well. breakfast was good.

it really didnt feel 5 star. Pool area, rooms, location and actual property is def not 5 Star! im sorry but it just isnt. was an expensive stay and really did not feel worth it. we wont be back unfortunatley.

Wahnsinnig schönes altes Herrenhaus mit sehr viel Liebe geführt. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt, alle so super nett. Essen unglaublich lecker! Drei Gänge zum Frühstück :) Es gab im Zimmer sogar Kinder Spielsachen und am nächsten Morgen wurde unser Auto geputzt!!
