The Everglades Park Hotel

Not a bad hotel. I stayed whilst visiting a festival so prices were elevated, but that was true everywhere. The room was fairly dated and could use a refurb and the bathroom tile grouting wasn't in great condition. The bed was comfortable enough and it was quiet. The hotel is functional and does the job, but has potential to be nicer with a bit of investment.

I had a great few nights. Friendly staff and good food. I was especially impressed with the steak. I always ask for the steak to be blue and not many places do that. However, the chef at the Everglade did and it came exactly how I wanted it. If I had one qualm it would be that dogs are allowed in the hotel and bar area, not sure about the restaurant though.

This hotel provides an excellent, value-for-money stay. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, more than adequate room facilities, good drinks, great food and a wonderful team of staff. We were there at the same time as a wedding, so the venue was busy but we were never ignored or overlooked. Ange and her team are a credit to the company and it was clearly evident that there is a collective joy in their work. We will be returning.

Generally ok but the walls are very thin so hear TVs very easily, also the doors were very clunky when they were being shut. Would be good if the hotel had signs up reminding guests to be quiet when returning to their rooms. Breakfast was disappointing, the usual hot breakfast but no fried eggs and the continental part was very lacking! Bar was closed in the evening due to a wedding party which I'm sure would have disappointed some guests

A warm welcome from Mandy on reception, great friendly service from Mike at dinner which was delicious. Room was very clean and comfortable. well done to the team there. I would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

Although the room was clean, it was old and outdated,the everglades would definitely benefit from a re model and modernization, as everything was old tired and worn out in my opinion it is overpriced.

This is our second stay in 4 months and it just gets better, the Hotel staff are all exceptional and you feel the quality of care & kindness as soon as you enter reception, we were greeted by Caroline and all went smoothly from the start. We must mention a new team member name Lee, she was so kind, charming and fun hopefully Lee gets her wish. Our room was kept in top condition by housekeeping thank you Emma.(111) We ate in the restaurant both days and the quality, taste & presentation was superb as were the staff who served us, Thanks Tony & Mike, restaurant and bar who are just amazing & must mention Emma at breakfast & Chef for the tasty breakfast nosh. Not as one knows all this does not happen by its self and all the Hotel Team is lead by the fantastic General Manager Angie, please pass on our thanks to all your team for us. See you in September. The hotel is ok, the main problem is the wifi terrible signal

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Want to give a big thank you to Mandi on reception who was friendly & professional giving us all the information we needed & helped us with directions to the nearby garden centre. We were there for a surprise 60th birthday party for a family member, the room was set up lovely & the food on the buffet was delicious. Bar staff were helpful & friendly and a very special shout out to Claire who went above & beyond to make the evening a great success for all. She was there in the day also for a friendly banter, which we like & nothing was too much trouble.

The bed was slanted, uncomfortable and very creaky, paint chips, marks and stains all over the room. Restaurant food was ok, although the full English breakfast was the same as a small breakfast. Ie 1 item of each. A pint of lemonade was very expensive at £4.80. I would not stop again.
