The Everglades Park Hotel

Worst hotel ever. Rooms smell of excrement. Purple walls, brown curtains and bedding. Springs poking through the bedding. To say it's dated is a majorly kind. Shell shape bath room.. There was pungent smell of weed. A guest smoking in a oom very near reception. The smell filled the corridor all.the way to the next part of the hotel. This hotel was once known for high standards and a wedding venue. It now houses bad smells and mainly contractors.

The staff were superb, from the minute we arrived until we left. Friendly helpful & efficient. We stayed to celebrate a friend's birthday & I emailed the day before to ask if there was anything they could do to make our evening special. They made a real fuss of the Birthday girl with a decorated table, birthday cake & special attention & service - she was delighted. We had the all inclusive package & it was fantastic value - no issue getting drinks etc at the bar & an excellent range of branded drinks. Both dinner & breakfast were lovely, with plenty choice & good quality food. It's not a 5 star hotel & yes it needs updating a bit, but if you're looking for a fantastic value break with friendly & hard working staff - look no further! Well Done folks

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Room was large. Bed was a bit lumpy but not bad. I ate in the restaurant. The food was OK. I had a burger and it was quite nice sort from the bun was burnt so didn’t eat that. Breakfast is good. Buffet and order from menu. I chose the porridge. The thing that really annoyed me was a dog constantly barking in a room near to mine. I had to call reception twice to try to get it stopped. If dogs are allowed guests should have to stay with them.

We were greeted again by the lovely Glenda what a fabulously happy front of house person to have. Once again we booked the really nice room 121 , his and hers bathrooms, 2 tv’s lovely lounge we couldn’t have asked for more. We ate each day and had breakfast included with the booking , the food was superb, we also had drinks in the bar of an evening, all very pleasant staff and only to happy to help. We will definitely return again.

Rooms very tired, particularly bathroom which had horribly stained plastic bath, black mold grout and grubby floor with hairs all round edges. Ate in the bar. Very mediocre and expensive for what was little more than chip shop quality pie and chips. Wouldn’t go back - better off at Premier Inn

Absolutely impressed by the staff the accommodation, parking availability and quality of the suite. Simply a joy to stay in.

Staff were very friendly and we loved the extra-large bed.

Basic but perfectly adequate hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. We were on the dinner, bed and breakfast deal with drinks included from 6 till 11 pm. Absolute bargain ! Staff friendly and attentive, would definitely return in the future.

Lovely friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Yes rooms are dated, but lovely and clean and had everything you need. Drinks are very expensive for some reason. The food and menu had a lot to be desired, ordered on our first evening, no chips, bearing in mind there is only a few items on the menu and definitely not home cooked, my husband ordered the fish and it was frozen and shop bought, the pizza was so thin and crispy you could pick it up. The second night was not much better, no chips and a couple of the main meals were also off the menu, this left the meat pie and the burger, both went back as they were cold and hard in the middle. Great location and lovely helpful staff, the food was a very big let down.
