The food was exceptional,breakfast and evening bar meal,10 out of 10 .Friendly and welcoming.

Was convinced I booked a king bed room,on arrival not available,Very disappointed. Was that me,booking.com or pub.Not liking a automatic service charge of 10% put on my bar / drinks bill and bar meal.As requested it was taken off.

Excellent food and great atmosphere in the bar. The breakfast was outstanding!

Room very dated and small, no way to open window toilet seat broken although credit to bar manager who had it replaced same day!

Lovely people, great pub and atmosphere in a fab location.

It’s a lovely old pub, with no double glazing on the room at front on main street. Whilst little traffic at night, if you’re sensitive to noise, it may affect you. But there were helpful packs of earplugs if you need. We found it fine though.

Perfectly fine with everything, everything worked....

Except the heating. It was cold

We spent new years eve at the Thorverton Arms, and what a amazing night we had. Very welcoming and friendly staff, seemed nothing was to much trouble. All the people that live in the village were also lovely and very welcoming. We had breakfast on new year's day and that was amazing to. Thankyou all so much, we are all ready talking about coming back and joining you again.

We couldn't find fault, for us it was just what we needed.
